Inked (Punk Louis)

Tatianna lives a life full of rules and order. To tell you the truth she's sick and tired of it. What happens when she meets a punk by the name of Louis Tomlinson? He's covered in tattoos and piercings. Everyone says he's bad news. But can Tati stay away?

13. New Friends

I stayed silent. Harry didn't even need me to speak to know my answer. He had read it from the expression on my face. "I knew I shouldn't have left you by yourself. This isn't the first time he's done something like this but I'm going to make sure it's his last. You of all people don't deserve to be brought into this, Tati. What you think you know isn't even half of the story. If you found out everything else this would seem like heaven. I'm not going to lose you..... I'll kill him first." and with that he pushed past me and left me standing there taking in his words. What didn't I know? What was I being brought into? All Harry did was confuse me. I continued to gather my books in a hurry because thanks to my best friend, I was going to be late to class. "It's too late." a voice spoke up making me jump. It was a boy who had been standing by his locker during our whole conversation. He was a really quiet boy that not many people payed attention to around here. His name was Liam Payne? At least I think it is. He's a really smart kid but what he said startled me. "W-what do you mean?" I stuttered. He looked at me symphathetically and checked to see if the hallway was empty before walking over to me. "I mean it's too late for Harry to try and get you out of this. Once you're marked there's no way out. You're his next target." he whispered. Liam occasionally looked around to see if anyone was listening. "Target? What's that supposed to mean? And why am I the only one who doesn't know what the hell this is about?" Liam frantically held his finger to his lips trying to make me lower my voice. "Look Tati, alot of people don't know. Everyone just thinks Louis is dangerous and that's all. In reality that doesn't even begin to cover any of it. I know because I observe things better than others. I'm quiet because I pay more attention than the average person. As for Harry, he witnessed these things happen to people close with him in the past. We can't go around talking freely about this. They have ears everywhere and what we've both said is enough to put our lives on the line. All I'm saying is that from now on you listen to Harry. He knows what he's doing and is only trying to help you...I better get going before people get suspicious. Be careful." I nodded and just watched him leave. Why did he think people would get suspicious? No one was even around. But one thing was for sure. I was scared now. What the hell was I getting into and who had Louis hurt that was close to Harry? Harry had never mentioned anything like that. I slammed my locker shut and continued to think things over as I walked to class. By now I didn't even care about how late I was. The bell had sounded over fifteen minutes ago.

I waited impatiently for the class to end. It was the last one I had before lunch and I was determined to try and get more information out of Liam. Since this whole problem concerns me I think I have the right to know. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I almost didn't notice the way people had been staring at me the whole day. Some looked at me curiously while others looked like I scared the hell out of them. In the hallways they would move aside as if I had some contagious disease that could wipe out the entire school with a single touch. Even people I used to be good friends with blew me off. Then there were the two boys with a few tattoos barely peeking out from under their uniform sleeves and the girl with purple hair. From what I had seen before they were close friends with Ashley. Those three were the only people besides Ashley and Harry who had been treating me like a normal human being. Although I had never actually talked to them before, they had waved warmly at me a few times today and occasionally sent friendly smiles my way in the corridors. It felt good knowing I wasn't completely hated around here. As soon as the bell rang I hurried over to the cafeteria not even stopping to care about people's reactions towards me. To my great dissapointment Liam was no where to be seen. I walked over to buy my lunch deciding that maybe he was still on his way. After all, I did just run here like an idiot. To my dismay he never showed up. I grabbed my lunch and walked over to the table where Harry and I sat only to find it empty. He hadn't shown up either. I sighed and took my usual seat. Guess I was spending lunch alone. I just sat there playing with my food until I heard someone call my name over the cafeteria noise. Suddenly everyone fell silent as my name continued to be called. I looked up to find Ashley inviting me over to her table which included the three friendly people from earlier. I smiled brightly and walked over to them ignoring the mumbles coming from almost every table. "Hi Tati, I'm Zayn." one of the boys greeted as I took a seat next to Ashely. "And this is Niall and my girlfriend Perrie." he added while nodding at the other two. "Nice to meet you" I smiled at them. They smiled back brightly at me. "You're basically about the only people treating me normally." I accidentally said making them laugh. "They're all stupid gits, that's why." Perrie said as if she didn't give a hell about what anyone thought. I think I found my new friends.
