5. Perfect Relationship

The night had ended perfectly. Niall and I started acting like a couple again, and I missed that. We talked at Gregg's for a little while longer, and I started yawning.

"Hey, you seem tired. Why don't you to home and get some rest." Niall suggested.

"But I'm enjoying myself!" I admitted. "And I'd rather be with you than going home and getting rest." He smiled.

"Trust me. I wish you weren't so tired, because I want to stay longer too, but you need your rest. You have work tomorrow." I sighed. I knew he was right, I just didn't want to admit it.

"Okay. Okay. I'll go home. Thank for tonight. I had so much fun." I told him. He smiled again.

"I did too. Can you call me tomorrow when you get off of work?" I nodded. "Do you have plans tomorrow night?"

"No. Why?" I asked.

"Well, would you maybe want to go ice skating?" He was nervous. He was looking down at the ground, and rubbing his arm.

"I would love to." He looked up, and smiled. We took care of our dishes, grabbed the flowers, and he walked me to my car. "Thank you so much." I told him again.

"It's no problem." He smiled. He pulled me in for a hug. He looked down at my face, and went to kiss me. Instead of the lips, he went for the cheek. I missed his soft lips. Before he could pull away, I turned and kissed his lips. It took him by surprise, but then he gladly accepted it. We pulled away.

"Goodnight." He told me.

"Goodnight." I replied. I wished that he would've told me he loved me. But I was the one who said to take it slow and start over. But that doesn't mean he can't say he loves me, right? I drove back to the flat, and locked the door behind me. I saw Ashlie, Paige, and Brittney sitting on the couch, so I locked the other lock too.

"How was it?!" Paige asked with an eager smile. They all looked eager.

"It was good." I kept it short. I knew they would pester me about it, but it was funny to annoy them with this stuff.

"Just good?!" Brittney pestered.

"Okay. I'll tell you!" The had me come over to the couch, and they looked like children getting ready to hear their favorite bedtime story. "We went, and at first it was extremely awkward. He gave me flowers and I could tell he was nervous. He told me he was sorry, and I told him that I wouldn't give in that easily, but I did. I hated seeing him that sad! And we talked for a while, and we're going ice skating tomorrow night."

"Awh!!" Brittney and Paige said in sync.

"That's so adorable!" Ashlie sang. I laughed at them, and rolled my eyes.

"Goodnight!" I told them. They told me goodnight back, and before going to bed, I put the flowers in a vase, and brought them to my room. I changed into my pajamas, and laid in bed. Niall was the only thing on my mind as I fell asleep.

I got up and went to work again the next morning.

"Hello love!" Harry said walking into the studio where I was writing.

"Hi! What are you doing here?" I asked him.

" I just thought I would surprise you." He replied. "How was your date with Niall?" He asked. Had Niall not told him?

"It was amazing!" I replied. "We ended up getting back together, but we're taking it slow." I finished. I saw his face fall. Did he like me back? I mean, my feelings were still there for him, I just loved Niall more. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"What? Oh! Nothing..." He replied. I knew he was lying.

"Please tell me Harry." He sighed.

"I just..." He hesitated. "I really like you Sydney. And I know Niall loves you, so that's why this is hard for me." I felt bad. I did like him back, but I just got Niall back. Was I falling out of love with Niall? I just didn't know what to do.

"I'm so sorry Harry. But I promise, one day, a girl will come along and you'll fall in love with her, and she will be better than me." He gave me a small smile.

"No one is better than you." I thanked him, and changed the subject.

"So, how do you like my song so far?" I asked. I started singing what I had so far.

"Sydney, that's... Amazing! You're amazing!" I slightly laughed.

"Thank you." He stayed there the rest of the time with me, and when I finished, he walked me home. "You probably want your jacket back now, don't you?" I asked.

"Yeah. That'd be great. Thanks." He chuckled. He came inside our flat, and I walked into my room quickly to go get it for him.

"Thank you, again." He said.

"No problem! I should be thanking you for letting me use it." He smiled and softly shrugged. He pulled me in for a hug, and left afterwards. I walked back inside.

"I thought you and Niall were dating." Ashlie remarked.

"We are. Harry's a good friend." I replied honestly. Was I being honest? She nodded, and I went up to my room to change for my date.

I changed into jeans and put pink leg warmers on beneath my black combat boots. I pulled on a gray sweater, and straightened my hair. I didn't know if I should eat or not, so I texted Niall.

'Food?' I asked.

'Hah don't worry about eating. I'll take you to Nandos' He replied.

'My favorite!' I told him.

'I know(:' All I could do was smile. Why did I think he neglected me? He knew everything about me. I laid on my bed, playing on my phone until Niall came to the door.

Niall's POV

I picked up Sydney, and we went straight to Nandos. I was trying to enjoy my date with Sydney but Ellie kept calling me. During the middle of eating, I excused myself to go to the bathroom, and I called Ellie back.

"Why do you keep calling?" I asked angrily.

"You're hot when you're mad." She replied. I knew she wanted me, and she was hard to resist. Okay, okay. I wasn't being honest with Harry or Sydney when I said that I just didn't think she would leave. No, one night, I went out drinking with some friends back in Ireland, and that's when I met Ellie. I'll never love her as much as I love Sydney, but she is fun to mess around with.

"I know you want me to come home, but I can't. I'll be back there as soon as I can." I replied more calm than before.

"Or maybe, I could come into London. You could come fuck me a few nights every week." She replied. I was really tempted.

"Where would you stay?" I asked.

"I have some friends who have a vacation home there. I'll ask them if I can stay there for a few weeks." She replied.

"Deal. Can I just finish my date with Sydney, and I'll meet you tomorrow night?" I asked. She replied with a yes, and then let me go. I went back out to Sydney.

"Sorry." I apologized.

"It's no problem!" She said with a smile. We finished our dinner, and went to the ice rink. We rented skates, and went out on the ice. It took us a little bit to get used to it, but once we did, we had so much fun. We spent about an hour on the ice, and then got some hot chocolate. We spent another fifteen more minutes talking, before I took her home.

"I had a lot of fun tonight." I told her, walking her to her door.

"I did too. Thank you so much." She smiled.

"You're welcome." I replied. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her close. She giggled, as I bent down to give her a kiss. It was soft, but passionate. She pulled away, and told me goodnight. I almost told her that I loved her, but do I?
