Beautiful Tragic

Natalie Craun has the hugest crush on Tristan Miller. They were once friends, but they grew apart when Tristan started Triple Threat ( acting, singing, dancing). She knew he liked to sing and dance. All she wanted was to let Tristan know how much she liked him. And with one stupid prank call, it slowly makes it way out.

8. Blue Suede Shoes

It's been three weeks since Tristan told me he loved me; and everyday has been like the first day when we kissed.  We were walking around the halls during our free period; his arm on my shoulder and my arm around his torso.  We were talking and laughing about random things.  We walked past a door and I could hear someone singing;Blue Suede Shoes.  I could listen to this song for hours and never get tired of it.  I let go of Tristan and walked towards the door, like I was in a dream or something.

"Babe?  Are you alright,"  I heard Tristan ask from behind me.

"Just fine,"  I stated, not turning around to look at him, my ears locked on the sound.  I opened the door and I couldn't believe who I saw in the booth.

"Eric?!"  I screamed.

"Natalie!"  He ran towards me, engolfing me in a hug.  Eric is my cousin who I haven't seen in forever.

"What are you doing here?"

"Didn't you here?  I got accepted here.  They saw me play at the coffee house and I guess they fell in love with me."  We laughed.  He let me go and Tristan walked into the room.

"Hey, I'm Tristan.  Her boyfriend."  He gave Eric a very mean look.

"Don't worry, Tristan.  Eric is my cousin.  Nothing to worry about."  He eased up and shook it off.

"Alright."  Was all he said.

"So, are you still working at Panera?"  For those of oyu who don't know, Panera Bread is a restaurant.

"Well we have to give you a tour of the school,"  I grabbed Eric's hand and headed out into the hall.  I showed him around the school and the bell rang.  Everyone swallowed the halls and were rushing to get to class.

"I'll walk you to lunch, Natalie,"  Tristan took my hand in his and I said goodbye to Eric and headed to the lunch room.

"Well, well, well.  Look what we've got here,"  Lindsay, Tristan's ex- girlfriend, came up to us, "Where did you pick this scrub up?"  She took my hair in her hands and quickly let go of it.

"She's not a scrub, Lindsay,"  Tristan spoke up, "She's my girlfriend and I love her.  Do you know why I broke up with you?  You being a complete bitch and I couldn't stand you.  Don't ever talk to me, Natalie, or anyone.  Don't even touch us, look at us, think about us.  Got it?  Good."  He grabbed hand once more and pulled me over to our table.  We couldn't hold our laughter in any longer.

"Did you se her face,"  I laughed doubling over.

"It's what that bitch deserves."  We sat down as we waited for the lunch line to die down.  I was so lucky to have him stick up for me like that.  I'm one lucky gal.
