Dear Diary,

NOTE OF THE DAY: Be careful of big things… Today started off as a normal day, as I thought it would be; I woke up and got ready to move into my new house, I packed the car and jumped into the back, looking at the old place I used to call home for the last time. When I arrived at my new house it seemed like a normal area to live. But from what I’ve seen so far, this place is not normal. I was unpacking all day, until it gat to about 10 o’clock it was pitch black outside but I heard screaming, I ran out the door and followed the sound of the ladies voice. I ended up at the edge of some trees; I went to turn and head home to give up all hope for that lady, but then I heard her scream again. I went running through the forest trying to find her when I got stuck on something, I didn’t have a clue what it was. I couldn’t move at all; I was stuck there, stuck to something while I was in the shape of a star with my legs and arms spread right apart. Then whatever I was stuck on started shaking and I heard the lady scream again, I managed to tilt my head up a little to see the lady dangling above me; then something big, black and hairy attacked her. I heard her screaming cut off as her lungs filled with blood and began to drip down past me, landing on the dirt. By that point I was freaking out, until I saw a man in a mask approach me. He had told me to be quiet and still. He took an axe and cut me free. He took me home and explained what it was. He said that this place isn’t what it seems, and not to trust anyone or anything; also that what killed that lady was a spider. He said to always watch out for them. When I asked for his name he just shook his covered head and began to walk away, dragging his big axe behind him.
