These are poems mostly about separation and breakdown but this is not a depressing collection - defiance and hope weave their way through the poems.

Andrew Simon Hinkinson was born in Lancashire, England. He spent 13 years studying and working as a copywriter and editor in London before relocating to a small market town in the Yorkshire Dales. He has a Bachelor’s degree in English and Theatre Arts from Goldsmiths College, University of London plus an MA in Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University.

 

As well as studying poetry under the tutelage of world-famous poets like Simon Armitage and the UK’s first-ever female Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy, Andrew has had poems published in a number of literary magazines including  Citizen 32 and Parameter. He has written feature articles and news stories for magazines, websites and newspapers on a variety of subjects from health and lifestyle through to PC and Mac technology.

 

Andrew is currently promoting his adults-only novel, WOOF!, and finishing work on other projects.
