Sparks Flying

This story is about 17 year old Claire Williams. She is living an average high school seniors life, and she wouldn't change it for the world. One lucky day she gets picked to spend a summer with the man of her dreams, Justin Bieber. Will this be a summer to remember, or a time to forget?

1. I won what?

I looked both ways before crossing Chalkstone Ave. I saw couples holding hands, kids running around with their friends, and groups getting ready to start their summer vacation with a huge blast. I sigh and look down at my gray toms, pacing down the pavement making their way to my home. 'One more turn and I'm there', I think to myself. I'm not one to spend my time outside since I've never been the social type. My entire life had to be Tumblr and Twitter. What could be better that revolving your entire social life around one special talented boy? Justin Bieber.

I finally arrive to my home. It was a beautiful 2 story white house with wine colored shades by the windows that complimented its paint. My door was a beautiful soft wood that matched with the shade color. I open up the door to find my mother sitting in the living room working on her iPad. She was always busy and rarely had time to do anything family like, but hey she was still my beautiful and wonderful mother.

"Hey mom what's up?" I say as I grab a granola bar from the fridge.

"Oh nothing dear, just doing some final charts for the presentation tomorrow." she says sighing.

"Well stop talking to me and get to work!"

"Alright! But you got a letter. I think its something you'll really want to open dear!" She smirks.

Oh no not college letters. I'm not even looking forward to college let alone any letters. I make my way to the marble kitchen counter and lay my eyes on a manilla folder with my name on it. I study it and look at lay my confused eyes on the address that sent this weird letter.

Tiger Beat Magazine, Bauer Publishing, 270 Sylvan Avenue, Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632.

What did Tiger Beat want with me? If this is a magazine that I didn't even subscribe for I'm throwing it right out (Not if Justin's on the cover though!). I tear up the manilla folder to reveal 2 papers. One in which had a plane ticket and another in which consisted of a letter. I give a very confused look as I open up the letter and read it.

I jump up and scream as loud as I can while my mom stands there laughing in the doorway of the kitchen. She looks at me and comes over trying to calm me down. I scream and yell and practically break my vocal cords. It takes my mother about 5 minutes to help me calm down, I end up sitting down on the ground with her holding onto my arms. After recomposing myself it all hits me. When did I sign up for a Summer with Justin Bieber? How could I win if I never even entered myself in something like this? Since when do I read magazines?

"Surprise, surprise!" My mother shouts.

I give that woman the dirtiest look before I even said a word. "What are you talking about?"

"Well since you have been bothering me for the past year about how you've wanted to do something fun this summer. Why not give you a summer with the man of your dreams?" She smiles and pats me on my back.

"Oh my god mom thank you so much, this has been the best gift you've ever given me!" I give her a huge bag and go up to my room.

"Don't even bother packing! I've already packed everything you needed with all of those little clothes that you love, so how about you run down to the mall and grab us something to eat? Pizza maybe?" My mother yells.

I turn right in my steps leaving my bag on the floor of my room and putting my purse on. I insert my phone into the right pocket of my jeans. I walk by the parlor and grab the keys that were on the key holder. I open the door and unlock the Nissan Altima parked on the driveway with the push of a button. I close the door and make my way to the veichle. I open the door and head to the mall, hopefully it wasn't full with all of these irrelevant douchebags that wander the place all of the time.
