2. Thief

I am a highwayman and though I be not proud to beg my way of other men I will proclaim it loud.   “Do you, sir, know true, sir, the gentle of my blood?” “I do, sir, 'tis true, sir, I know thy name is good,   but food, sir, is good, sir, and so I humbly ask: thy purse, sir, no worser than that golden flask.”   And so, you see, my charity is of those higher born; though never have I, sparingly, ta'en but excess borne.
