3. The Concert

I woke up at 9:00 this morning so I would have enough time to get to the concert at Madison Square Garden. I dressed up in my casual Saturday clothes. Then, my Mom had went ahead and made me a bowl of oatmeal. In a few minutes, the bowl was empty.  My money was in my Kavu bag along with my phone.

Chelsea's mom offered to take me, so she was outside my building.

Hey Chelsea. Are you excited for the concert.

Am I? I've never been so excited in my life. Taylor Swift will be only a few feet away from us because we got front row seats. I hope we make eye contact. People say eye contact is the first key in a relationship. Or maybe that is just for guy-girl relationships. But who cares, we're going to see Taylor Swift.

She was talking a mile a minute. I knew she had the "Swift Sickness," but I didn't think that it was this bad. Not even a doctor could cure her. Yeah that bad. She chatted on but I had my IPod on me, and I came prepared with 1D, Neon Trees, and The Fray. I was not about to listen to talk about Taylor or Taylor herself.

When we got there, Chelsea was still talking. Chelsea's mom showed the ticket taker guy person out tickets, and he let us through. Chelsea and I bought glow sticks for the show. I found our seats, 1M,1N, and 1O. I sat down and set my IPod on shuffle. Finally a good song like "Kiss You" flowed into my ears.

Taylor finally appeared on stage 30 minutes later and EVERYONE screamed. It was so loud that I heard "Baby you--- *screaming noise*--- like nobody else." It turns out that Chelsea wasn't the only one with "Swift Sickness." She started singing and I turn my volume all the way up. It still didn't cover up her terrible singing.

It seemed like forever before the concert was over. We walked outside and headed to our car which was strangely parked close to Taylor's bus. I almost open the door, but someone grabbed my arm.
