Unwritten Vow

"I never imagined that I- being what I am- could fall in love, anyless fall in love with two people at once. And the worst part, is that it just keeps getting harder, no matter how I try, I can't seem to make it right."
When Maria was first bitten everything was "a game" but after she meets Nathan Sykes and falls in love with him, that all changes. But it becomes life and death when Liam comes into her life. It's the battle for life, death and love in this twisted fanfiction vampire book. Enjoy :)

7. Hating

I felt a whipping of wind. I looked over at the doorway. Tom, Max, Siva and Jay were all standing there, their mouths covered in blood. "How many people did you bite?!" I gasped.

"Eight.....?" Jay said.

"Eight?!" Emily screeched. "That's way too many! You could put us all in danger!" She said.

They all laughed. "I don't see how humans are gonna hurt us." Tom said.

"That's not th-"

"Wait, so you guys aren't mad?" I asked, cutting off Emily. They shrugged. "We were, but we talked about it and there's nothing we can do about it, so might as well enjoy it." Siva said, winking at Jewls as she blushed madly. "Nathan sure doesn't feel that way." Karli said, coming out. "He'll come around." Max said. "Sure didn't look like that. I'm starting to question Maria's mating mark." She said, with an attitude. Rage flooded through me. "Ya know, just cause you and your damned dream boy weren't meant to be doesn't mean you gotta go bitchin bout everyone else." I said, harshly. "Don't talk to me like I'm your daughter. I know a lot more than you do." She said. I got in front of her and looked her hard in the eyes. "Wanna find out?"

"Hey! Stop this." Jewls said. "Wait I'm confused..... what are they talking about?" Max asked.

"The marks on your wrists, they're always black, until you find your mate. Then both yours and your mates change colors to match eachother. It's basically our symbol of love." Emily said. They all looked down at their wrists. "Who's my match?" Siva, Jay and Tom asked at the same time. "Why don't I have one?" Max asked. Jesse, Jewls and Emily went up to them to show their matching marks.

"We don't know." I said to Max. "Do YOU know why it's not working?" I asked Karli. "The only time it won't work is if one doesn't like the other. Or is denying their feelings." She said.

"Are you?" I asked Max. He slowly shook his head. I looked at Karli. "DOES IT LOOK LIKE I'M DENYING?!" She almost shouted.

"Wait a sec! I'm still confused...... Why is it dangerous to 'feed.'" Siva asked.

"Assasins." Emily said. "What now?" Tom asked. "A fancy word for extremely strong and talented people that spend their lives hunting down and killing vampire. And they're the only thing that is as strong or stronger then a vampire. They can be anyone anywhere. The only way they can tell us seperate from people is our fangs, if we're feeding or our marks of birth." Karli explained. The boys all stood frozen for a moment. "So these "assasins", do they have any kind of peace treaty or something?" Jay asked.

"They hunt to kill and hunt vampires. That's the only thing they're trained to do." I said.

We all stood in an awkward silence when the door burst open and Nathan came in.
