Unwritten Vow

"I never imagined that I- being what I am- could fall in love, anyless fall in love with two people at once. And the worst part, is that it just keeps getting harder, no matter how I try, I can't seem to make it right."
When Maria was first bitten everything was "a game" but after she meets Nathan Sykes and falls in love with him, that all changes. But it becomes life and death when Liam comes into her life. It's the battle for life, death and love in this twisted fanfiction vampire book. Enjoy :)

19. Fight

I waited in my position, fangs out, back hunched, ready to lunge. The wild crazy scream of Karli appeared on the other side of me. I jumped out into the clearing and lunged at the eight vampires runnning for Karli. I grabbed one and threw him onto the ground, leaving a crater underneath him. He got up and went to lunge at me. I grabbed his hair and threw him back. I felt a grab at my ankles and fell to the ground. A second one had my ankles while the first one got up and grabbed my arms. They started to pull really hard, trying to split me in two. I closed my eyes and tried to pull free. Suddenly my ankles were free and the one holding my arms dropped me and started to run off. I opened my eyes and saw Nathan charging at the first one, fire in his eyes. I looked at the second one dead at my ankles, a large sharp branch sticking through him. Nathan returned, the first ones head in his hands. He took it and hurled it at a tree. The tree split in half and the sound of thunder rang in our ears. For a second, even I was scared of Nathan. He looked down at me, fire in his eyes diapearing. I jumped up and ran into his arms. "Don't ever scare me like that again." He said, hugging me tight. I heard someones throat clear. I looked over at everyone else. They were all standing there, watching us. I quickly let go of him, blushing. He just laughed.

"Shocked you took on two at once Maria, some of us had two to three on one." Max said, laughing. I nodded. "But I didn't try taking on two, they came at me-" "I know I'm just joking." Max said. There was a slight awkward silence. "Good job guys." Jewls said, trying to brake the silence.

"Maybe we should-" Karli was interupted by many people jumping into the clearing. There were at least thirty of them. They all were wearing big black hoods, hiding most of their face. They all had giant wooden stakes in there hands and were wearing crosses around their necks. I tensed up as I realized they were vampire hunters.
