Unwritten Vow

"I never imagined that I- being what I am- could fall in love, anyless fall in love with two people at once. And the worst part, is that it just keeps getting harder, no matter how I try, I can't seem to make it right."
When Maria was first bitten everything was "a game" but after she meets Nathan Sykes and falls in love with him, that all changes. But it becomes life and death when Liam comes into her life. It's the battle for life, death and love in this twisted fanfiction vampire book. Enjoy :)

3. Bite

We all walked down the street. Me and Nathan were holding hands. I hate what was about to happen.

When we were back at the bar Max asked the bartender where the closest private place was. So now we were headed toward a quiet bar down the street, that you needed to have some sort of V.I.P. pass to get into. And Jay somehow had the pass. I don't know what it was, but there was something about these guys, something special, that made me think we were messing with the wrong people.

Jay showed the gaurd his pass and we were let through. There was nobody in there. As time passed more I got hungrier, it was starting to be painful. My throat was burning harshly. I gave my sisters a look saying it was time. They nodded. There were 7 small doors at the end of the room that led to small rooms. My sisters and the guys each went into one. Me and Nathan just sat on the couch. "Let's just stay out here." I said, smiling. I hate what my sisters did. The reason they went into the small rooms was for torture. I don't know wy they had to do it. But they tortured their victims. Maybe they did it because they weren't tortured themsleves when they were bitten. Maybe that's why I didn't torture mine, because the last hour of my life was so painful and awful, I could never do anything like that to anyone, ever.

I knew the screaming would start soon. Nathan leaned in and kissed me. I turned my head to the side and acted like I was going to kiss his neck. I did once, but the thirst overtook me. "I'm sorry." I whsipered. I felt my fangs sink in and my thirst slowly disapeared. When he was drained I laid him on the couch. In the morning he would wake up, but different.

The screams started. I felt terrible for the boys. In the morning they would remember everything that happened. Nathan wouldn't for a while. I don't know why, but when someone is tortured before bitten they remember everything that happened during the time they were bitten. But the ones that weren't tortured, like Nathan, took a little time before they realize what they are. Maybe it's because the torture is too extreme to forget. Like me, the second I woke up the next morning I remembered everything that happened clearly. EVERYTHING. And I wish I didn't. But my sisters didn't realize what they were for a few hours after they woke up. And when they did, that's when they remebered the night before.

I sat next to Nathan on the couch. I just looked at him for a while. I still felt that weird feeling in my chest. And I still couldn't figure out what it was.

My sisters came out of the room, wiping their mouths, looking satisfied. "I hope you guys are happy with yourselves." I said, not looking up from Nathan.

"Ummmmm, I'm sorry. Didn't know you cared about people. Considering the way they treated you in your last hour." Karli said with an attitude. "Besides you got the one you wanted so don't tell us how to treat ours."

I didn't say anything.

"We need to figure out what we're going to do." Karli said, changing the subject. "Exterminate them or let them loose to fend for themselves."

"There's one more option." Me and Jewls said at the same time.

Karli laughed. "So you're saying you want to make them our mates?" She asked, humor in her voice.

Jewls hesitated then shrugged.

"Yes." I said not hesitating. They all looked at me like I was crazy. As soon as me and Jewls suggested that last one I knew what that feeling was. It was the same feeling I'd been so infatuated with, the feeling I thought I'd never feel, the feeling I desperately wanted to feel. LOVE. And I wasn't going to let that slip away. "Yes. I want to keep these ones. All of them. You chose your choice, now you're just going to have to live with it." I looked away from Nathan and stood up. I didn't bother hiding the seriousness in my eyes.
