My Big Brother

Ashely Styles is 11 months younger than Harry. She loves her brother to death. They're best friends. Everyone knows who they are. Especially Ashely's name. She's every boy's dream girl. Funny, wild, crazy. And good looking. She charms her way out of trouble. Harry thinks no one is good enough for his sister. He scares off every guy she goes on a date with. He loves her to death. Ashely's his best friend aside from his three other mates (Niall, Louis and Liam). But not even they are allowed to look at her for too long let alone ask her to prom without approval.

"Leave me alone!" I yelled at him.

"Why are you acting like this?!" He followed me up to my room.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I hung up my phone.

"I CAN'T BELIEIEVE YOU!" I pushed him out of my room.

"Ashely! What did I do!?" He begged for an explination.

"Never talk to me again! You're not my brother!" I screamed.

He made him leave. He did this.

53. My sister :)

The next day, I was sitting in my room crying once again. Mum thought it would be okay to bring me some chocolates but she didn't realize it was the same chocolates Zayn had gotten me on our second week anniversary. You remember, when his sisters were here.

And I don't think cuddling with the small teddy bear he had given me when I came home from my cheer competition was making anything better.

"Ashely! Please tell me what I can do to make you happy!" Mum begged as she hated seeing her own daughter broken.

"Z-Z-Zayn!" I cried into my pillow. His name made me cringe as the pain filled me even deeper.

"I know, I know. But there's nothing I can do." Mum was tired of everything. She had been sitting with me for six hours now trying to make me feel better. "Please, Ashely. Crying isn't going to make anything better."

"Mum?" I heard a small voice whisper. I looked up and stared straight at the person. He looked down. "Um... I just wanted to tell you that it's 6:30."

"Common, Ash. Get dressed and we'll go." With that, she got up and left.

*Harry's POV*

I had a raging hang over and hearing Ashely cry was making nothing better. Maybe I was wrong for what I did. What am I saying? I AM WRONG.

I feel horrible. I didn't even realize what I had done until it was too late. In the past, Ashely would just pout around for a couple of hours then get over it. She has never cried over a guy.

In my drunken stupor, Liam said I had ended up sobbing because I missed Zayn and I was nothing but a dick.

And I totally agree with myself. I do miss Zayn. Because even when I didn't know they were dating, I could still see they were so happy. Especially Ashely. She was the happiest I've ever seen her.

Liam told me that they love each other. And that's what killed me. I am a dick. I took away that one thing that I never knew my baby sister needed.

Someone to love.

Not a family member or a close friend. No, a real relationship. And for that, I am horrible. And seeing the look on her face. I just couldn't. I can't function.

After protecting her for so long from that kind of pain, I ended up being the one who caused it.

I should get an award. I mean, who else could cause so much pain while trying prevent it?

Not even my own mother couldn't look at me without a slight hint of disgust. I didn't blame her, I would have done that to my own son if he were as dumb as me.

As remorse washed over me, I heard steps coming down the stairs. Looking over my shoulder, I saw Ashely coming down with Gemma holding her shoulders. Ashely nodded at something she said then slightly smiled.

"Let's go." Mum ushered us put into the car. Robyn was going to meet us there since he was apart of the family technically.

Ash sat up front. Gem and I were in the back saying nothing. I could see Gemma wanted to reach out to me but she held back because we both knew Ash would flip out.

She gave me a reassuring smile. Gemma was the type who doesn't take sides when it comes to awkward situations like this. She was usually the one who would help put things back together. She was like the peace treaty of our family wars.

When we pulled up, I could already smell Maura's cooking. Niall's Mum was the best chef around... But don't tell my mother I prefer Maura's meatloaf over her's.

We entered the house and dispersed. Mum went off to the kitchen to chat with the other adults and Ashely went to the living room to see everyone. Gemma and I stood in the hallway and sort of stared at the ground.

"I have a Plan. And if you want everyone to forgive you, listen up." She instantly spat.

I didn't even have time to answer before she was whispering in my ear. The plan was long and seemed easy but I knew I would need a lot of planning. I would also need to get the others to forgive me and help me out.

"You deserve a cookie." Was what I said when she pulled away and raised an eyebrow.

*Ashely's POV*

Dinner came and went. It was awkward and mostly silent. I'm guessing Mum had told everyone of the events because no one even bothered to ask what happened to the Maliks.

We left at around 7:30. Before we had gone, Niall had said that he can pick me up in the morning if I wanted and we'll walk together. Only one more week of school before we are off for winter break.

As I laid in bed, I couldn't help but sigh. This is going to be the longest week between testing and the dance. Cheerleaders usually get Thursday and Friday off of class to decorate the gym.

But I didn't even want to think of the dance. Zayn and I had planned to tell Harry that we were a couple that night. But now, this was just going to be another boring dance.

When I dreamed, I dreamed of Zayn and I slow dancing. He was smiling and telling me over and over again that he loves me and he'll never let me go. He sang the song he had wrote for me and pecked my lips every now and then.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Harry nodding and smiling. I hugged Zayn tightly and mouthed a "Thanks Haz" who just winked at me.

As I pulled away, I couldn't help but grin. "How long are you going to stay?" I asked Zayn.

"Forever." He whispered and kissed me one last time. This time, I felt reassured and I knew he meant it.

I felt a little happy when I woke up. At least I had a nice dream.

After a quick shower, I threw on my extra uniform. I was down one since I had left it at Zayn's. A sigh left my mouth. This is going to be my first day back and I didn't even get to have him by my side.

I had left before "it" had finished his shower. Niall's Mum picked me up and drove us to school. Kids were greeting me like usual when I got there. I played a fake smile and waved elegantly.

Niall and I made small talk. He was usually the first of us to show up. We got breakfast then sat down. We made small talk for a while.

The others soon arrived and sat with us. When "it" had sat down, he sat on the different end. We were all silent for a while.

"Hey, Ash!" I turned and saw Coach Steph running towards me. "Can you come with me? I need to talk to you about the pep rally." We also had one the day of the dance.

"Of course." So I waved off the guys and left with her.

*Harry's POV*

I watched her walk off. As soon as she went through the double doors, I stood up on my chair and cuffed my hands over my mouth. "STUDENTS OF CHURCHILL HIGH! I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT!"

Liam pulled me down. "What are you doing?!" He hissed.

"I'm going to get my sister to forgive me."

Im so sorry for the late late update, but we had a big snowstorm and our power was out and it was bad.

Anyways I just ate pizza. What are you all doing?
