3. The Date

Chapter 3: It was Monday, which meant back to work and school. I go to school at the University of Talented Arts, or. UTA. After classes, I had to go to my shift at the local coffee shop, Starbucks. After 5, it was time to go home. Niall picked me up from work in his grey Camero. "Hello beautiful", he said in his adorable accent. "Hi Niall", I replied. He started to drive. We talked and talked and I lost track of time, and where we were going. "Um, Niall? I'm pretty sure my flat is that way." "I know", he said flatly. "Where are we going?" I asked, intrigued. "You'll see", he said with a sneaky smile.

We pulled up at Arty's, my favorite restaurant. It wasn't like one of those fancy restaurants, more like a bar and grill. I gasped with delight. Niall was pleased with my reaction. He got out and opened my door for me. "My lady", he said. "Niall I'm still in my work clothes!" I had realized in my excitement that I still had on my jeans, converse, and t-shirt. "Oh you look beautiful, c'mon". When we got inside a waiter took us to our table. "What's the occasion?" I pondered. "No occasion. What, I can't take my girl out on a nice date?" He smiled teasingly. Before I had a chance to reply, our waitress came with our drinks and took our orders. Oh, I was starving.

***Niall's POV*** I let Hannah order first. She looked perfect tonight. Her hair was in a cute pony tail and her shirt fit her perfectly in the right places. Same went for her jeans. She was so amazing, and she was mine. All mine and no one else could have her. "Niall?" Hannah's sweet voice broke me out of my thoughts. "What'll it be sir?" asked our waitress. "I'll have the steak with steamed broccoli and the mash potatoes please." After she left, me and Hannah talked and waited. After we ate, I tipped the waitress and drive Hannah home. "Thanks for dinner babe", she said on the way home. "Anything for my princess". When we got to her flat, I let out a sigh of frustration. It was the paparazzi. How did they even know I was taking Hannah home? They hadn't spotted my car yet, so I flipped a U-turn quickly and parked at the back of the building. "I'm so sorry Hannah, I don't even know how they found me." "It's okay Niall. It's not your fault, they just can't mind their own damn business".

I walked her up to her flat. Once inside, I plopped on the couch. "Um, you can stay here tonight". I loved how she was still a little nervous around me. "Are you sure? I'd hate to impose". "You aren't imposing. Here, you can sleep on the couch." "The couch?" "You can't stay in my bed!" "Whhhyyy?" I whined. "Because" "Please?" She grinned and walked away. I knew exactly what she was doing. She was teasing me, as she loved to do. I heard the shower start and I decided to watch TV. About 15 minutes later I heard the little pitter patter of her bare feet on the hardwood floor. "Night Niall", she said. "Night babe", I replied. I couldn't sleep, the couch was so uncomfortable. I got up and quietly crept to her room. The door creaked open and I froze. She hadn't budged. I opened the door fully and then closed it. I then snuggled in close to her. She then turned into me and I wrapped my arms around her. I sweeped a piece of stray hair behind her ear and stared at her moonlight- illuminated face. She was beautiful. After watching her sleep for a little bit I quickly fell asleep.
