Katie's POV

"Hooray she finally arrives," Clive cheered as I walked thought the front door of my Grandma's house.

"That has to be a new record, only two hours late," My Dad joined in on the cheering.

"Don't listen to them," My Grandma laughed. "How are you love?" She asked.

"I'm good thanks, Happy Birthday for last March," I smiled, greeting her with a hug and a kiss.

"Thank you dear," She smiled. "So how's your Mr Famous?" She asked as I sat in between Clive and her on the sofa.

"Mr Famous?" I questioned.

"The one you kiss loads," She laughed.

I felt my cheeks burning up, this was awkward.

"We broke up," I said quietly.

"I heard," Clive said. "Did it hurt when he punched you in the face?" He asked.

"What? Harry didn't punch me in the face," I laughed.

"Don't believe the rubbish you read in those magazines," Dad also joined the conversation. "Last week I heard that you were dead," He replied, acting quite causral about the fact that he read in a magazine that his daughter had died.

"But your ok about the break up?" Clive asked.

I wanted to tell him the truth so badly. Clive and I had practilly been best friends our whole lives, we told everything to one another, our promblems, our secrets, our worries.

I couldn't lie to him, I just couldn't.

"Yep,I'm fine," I answered quickly. Maybe a little too quickly. Clive gave me a look, before nodding slowly.

"Well let's get this party started," I exclaimed, looking around the room to find my Aunt and new Uncle on another sofa.

"Is this everyone?" I asked.

"Sorry, all my friends are dead," My Grandma laughed.

She laughed, but it was probably true. She was 85 and she was doing great for her age!

"Well let's get the food out and the music playing," I smiled.
