Starring One Direction

You've heard the story-girl meets boy, girl meets another boy, girl meets a third boy and has to choose between them, meanwhile dancing backup for their tour and having to deal with blackmailing manipulative psychos.
Okay, so maybe this isn't your typical story.
Emily is back, finally settled into her new life as Niall Horan's girlfriend.
She has it all: the guy she knows she loves, the best friend she can't live without, and a new movie on its way as she pursues her acting career.
But when Emily is confronted by her past, things get turned upside down.
Will her love with Niall stay strong, or will she be forced to leave behind everything she's come to know?

*A Threequel to "More Than One Direction" and "Choosing One Direction"*

20. Summer of '69

My sleep doesn't last long, and I wake up to my phone ringing.
I pick it up, hoping it to be Niall.
"Hey Emily, this is Paul."
"Oh, hi."
"We've discovered who leaked your story to the movie makers."
I sit up in bed quickly.
"You have?"
"Yes, and he's been arrested."
"What? Who?"
"Do you remember Ryan? The choreographer and director of the tour?"
"Of course. It was him?"
"Unfortunately, and since his leaking of confidential information goes against his contract, he's been arrested. But this comes with some bad news."
"Oh boy- what?"
"The movie is cancelled."
"Well, he's being arrested. They're not going to use the same plot. They don't have a movie now. I'm sorry Emily, but this is just what's gonna need to happen. You can pick your stuff up anytime this week."
"Are the boys getting back together?"
"As of now, no. But now that the movie thing is settled and we don't have to worry about fans discovering the truth- we can focus on them before their next tour starts."
"Oh, I guess that's a good thing."
"Yeah, well, thought you should know."
I still have one question for him.
"Hey Paul."
"Why were you the one to do all the investigating? Aren't you just a bodyguard?"
"No, ya see, I'm a security specialist. I'm here for protection. And that's what I'm doing- protecting the boys. Wanna hear a story?"
"Sure," I respond, though I'd rather get off the phone to wallow in my own misery.
"Well, it started a while ago, back in the summer of '69..." I stop listening, allowing my thoughts to drift to what my life has become- jobless and Niall-less.
