Karla is just a normal girl, living a normal life, with a normal family, with normal friends. At least that's the person you see when you walk in the hallways of Kingston high school. But she's not the person she looks like when you walk past her in the corridor. Her inside is filled with pain and guilt. Everything she can remember from when she was younger was the constant pain, and watching her mother beeing abused by her father. When she was 5 years old, he left. And even though her mom hated him, her brain told her that she still loved him. Ever since then her mother have been down, and it's all Karlas fault. If she just hadn't been born non of this would've happened. Her life is a gloom until one day when she bumps into a sweet canadian boy that'll change her life forever.

2. My mom is a belieber

A/N I'm sorry I haven't updated guys. Really. I've had so much to do, but that'll hopefully get better now! I'll try and update more often, not like, once a month. But anyway here's chapter two!

I've always hated maths, especially since the letters came in. If it was just numbers it would be so much easier. I mean, when in life am I ever going to know a-5x+78=698? I'm not an Einstien. As I struggled with my homework my phone suddently rang. I jumped slightly in my chair. I looked at the display. 'Unknown' it said. Was I gonna answer? I considered not picking up. But then again, why not? "Hello?" I said. "Hey is this Karla?" A familiar voice said. I couldn't really place it though. "Uhm... yeah." I said, still not realising who was calling me. "Hey this is Justin." My heart stopped. "You forgot a book today when we... bumped into eachother. I ran after you but I couldn't find you. I saw your schedule and your number in it and I didn't want to call you in the middle of class so..." I didn't say anything. My tounge was stuck. "Hello? Are you still there?" I suddently realised where I was and what was happening. "Oh yeah sorry I'm here." I said. I shook my head. "You've got my notebook?" He giggled slighty and I thaught I was going to die. "Yeah, well your second notebook I guess. What do you keep in the other one if this is your journal?" He said. "You read my journal?" I said terrified. All of my personal thaughts were in there. "No no no, I opened it and saw a date so I quickly realised that it was a journal. I wouldn't like to just dive into someones mind like that." I sighed eased. "Thank you, most guys probably would've read it. But then again, you're not like most guys." He laughed on the other line and I realised what I had just said. "Oh my god what did I just say? I'm sorry, that was so weird. You must think I'm so creepy now." I said nervously. He laughed again. "No no, not at all." I smiled. "So you're notebook." He said. "Yeah?" "I thaught maybe we could meet up and I could give it to you?" He said. Hold on, was he asking me out just then? No, definitely not. "Uhm, yeah. where do you wanna meet?" I said. "How about the park in... 15 minutes?" He said. "Yeah, sounds great." "Great, see ya then." He hung up and I almost dropped the phone when I realised what had just happened. I headed down the stairs and put my sweater on again. "Hey mom I'm heading out." I said. She took out another plate of cupcakes from the oven. "What are you going to do?" She asked. "Meeting up with a friend." I didn't even bother saying it was Justin. My mom is a belieber you see. I'm lucky I know. She would probably question me and I wouldn't be in the park until hours later. I walked towards the door but mom stopped me again. "Wait, Karla?" She said. I sighed. "Yes mom?" I said. "Take these with you." She reached me a bag of the freshly baked cupcakes. I raised an eyebrow. "Don't worry I put sugar in them this time." She said." I laughed, grabbed the bag and put in down in my backpack. "Don't forget to give your friend some!" She called before I closed the door behind me.
