Fallen

Karla is just a normal girl, living a normal life, with a normal family, with normal friends. At least that's the person you see when you walk in the hallways of Kingston high school. But she's not the person she looks like when you walk past her in the corridor. Her inside is filled with pain and guilt. Everything she can remember from when she was younger was the constant pain, and watching her mother beeing abused by her father. When she was 5 years old, he left. And even though her mom hated him, her brain told her that she still loved him. Ever since then her mother have been down, and it's all Karlas fault. If she just hadn't been born non of this would've happened. Her life is a gloom until one day when she bumps into a sweet canadian boy that'll change her life forever.

9. Laserquest

"Two please." Justin said and leaned against the counter. The girl behind it stared for a moment then told us where to go. "Same team?" Justin said as we walked into a little room with a red and a blue wall. Between them was a wall. On each side hung wests and weapons in respectively coulors. "No way, I'll beat your ass biebs." I said and walked over to the blue side. "You chose the wrong team Karla, I'm badass at this!" He called before the door closed behind him. I put on the vest in a way that seemed about right. Then I grabbed a weapon. The other guys on my team was no newbies by the looks of it. Suddently a small TV screen came down from the ceiling. A woman spoke in the speakers. "Hello and welcome to Laserquest. If you would please look at the screen it will show you how your gun works." I looked at the screen. It showed all the steps. Seemed easy enough. "Please, no physical voilence. Chest hits gives 10 points, shoulder 15. If a player hits you you loose 10 points and your gun deactivates for 15 seconds. The game will last 15 minutes. Respect your opponents. But most of all, have fun!" The door infront of us opened and we all went out in the arena. Everything was blue. There was several obstacles around the room the hide behind, and alot of mirrors. There was also something what seemed like a fort, with a tower. Guess you could climb up in it and shoot the other team from above. Smart. "10, 9" The speaker voice started to call. I needed to find a place to hide, quickly. "5, 4" I jumped behind a little cover. On the wall infront of me there was a mirror. I tried shooting at it. The laser jumped from the mirror to the wall behind me. I didn't even need the peak of the edge. Perfect. Suddently everything went black and when my eyes had adjusted there was no longer a wall between the two sides of the arena. My vest lit up and I could see several others lights through the room. Game on. The other side of the room was all red. I sat behind my cover and waited. After a few minutes a player with a red vest reflected in my mirror. I aimed carefully and hit the persons leg. Well that was a fail. I shot again and this time I hit the middle of his chestplate. I made a little 'win' gesture with my hand as the player looked down at his chest and didn't understand what just happened. This was going to be fun. The player returned back into the red side of the arena. Suddently my vest beeped and my gun turned off. What? "Ha!" I heard Justin call. I turned around and saw him returning back to his side of the arena again. Oh Bieber it is on now. As quietly as I could I jumped from obstacle to obstacle. Slowly making my way over to the red side. I sat down on a big staircase in the corner of the red area. I could look down at the whole arena from there. I saw several of the guys on my team from over here. Easy targets. Why hadn't nobody figured out that you could sit here before? I glanced over the red area and spotted alot of red players. I aimed on what seemed like a girl. She had long black hair, that was everything I could see. I shot her shoulder on my first try. She looked at her shoulder as it blinked and searched her surroundings to try and find me. Good luck. I was totally in the dark. I aimed for a boy with a brown quiff. Got you Justin. I shot his shoulder and it blinked. "Yeah." I whispered quietly. Suddently there was a tap on my shoulder. I jumped a little and stared beside me. I couldn't see anything. "Hey." Justin's familiar voice said from the dark. "Think you're smart huh?" He whispered. "I just shot you! How did you get here so fast?" I looked down at the arena again. The guy I just shot turned around and looked to the right of me. The guy was probably around 15-16 years old, asain. Guess I didn't shoot Justin. Crap. "You shot me!" I hit his arm as he shrugged his shoulders. "Well that's the game." He said and smiled. I reached my tounge out at him. Suddently all the lights turned on and my gun turned of. I turned around to look at Justin. He was alot closer than I thought. Inches away. I stared into his eyes. He leaned slightly closer to me. I took a deep breath and stood up, then started walking down the stairs. I turned around and looked at Justin. He was still sitting down, staring into the floor. "Are you coming?" I said. He looked at me and stood up. "Yeah." He followed me into the little room again and we hung our vests up. "Dinner at McDonald's?" I said as we walked towards Justin's car. "Uhm, no sorry I'm actually kind of tired. I think I'll just go home and crash. I'll drive you home." He said as I sat down in the passenger seat. What was wrong with him? He was in such a good mood then it just dropped. Maybe he just felt sick. Poor boy.
