Karla is just a normal girl, living a normal life, with a normal family, with normal friends. At least that's the person you see when you walk in the hallways of Kingston high school. But she's not the person she looks like when you walk past her in the corridor. Her inside is filled with pain and guilt. Everything she can remember from when she was younger was the constant pain, and watching her mother beeing abused by her father. When she was 5 years old, he left. And even though her mom hated him, her brain told her that she still loved him. Ever since then her mother have been down, and it's all Karlas fault. If she just hadn't been born non of this would've happened. Her life is a gloom until one day when she bumps into a sweet canadian boy that'll change her life forever.

12. Interview

I walked down the corridor, glancing at all the screaming students. "Woohooo!" I boy who I recognized as James Harries screamed. They were all so happy, finally school was over, they now had 3 months of freedom. Going on vacations, meeting new summer loves, maybe getting a new dog. All the finals were over, there was nothing to worry about. I walked out into the parking lot, and what a good way to start the summer. In his regular spot Justin stood leaned against his car. He was wearing dark blue shorts, a v-lined white T-shirt and his Ray Bans. How did I ever get so lucky? I walked up to him and a big smile spread across his lips. I walked into his arms, his hands rested on my waist. "Hey." He whispered before he kissed my lips. That feeling never really goes away does it? When we pulled apart he licked his lips and smiled. "So how was your last day?" He asked. I smiled. "It's better now." I slipped out of his grip and ignored all the looks from students leaving the school. He drove of the parking lot and drove in the direction towards his house. "So what's the plans for today?" I asked, now excited. He glanced at me while still paying attention to the road and smiled. "Well actually I'm going to this interview in..." He looked at the dashboard. "50 minutes, do you want to come?" "Am I even allowed to come through the doors of the building?" I frowned. He giggled. "Of course you are!" He grabbed my hand and kissed the back of my palm. "You're my girlfriend now remember?" My body stiffened. That was the first time he actually said that I was his girlfriend. It felt good, safe. I relaxed. He smiled at me again. "I was wondering if you wanted to be in the actual interview?" I almost choked on my saliva. "Uhm, yeah, sure why not?" He laughed again. "Don't worry it's nothing big, it's just that I think that everybody should know about you know, us. Ha, you should see my twitter, yeez it's freaking out." I looked at him. "I think it just would've been easier if we like, made it public you know? But if that's not cool with you we can wait." I sat silent for a minute, then I smiled too and nodded. "Okay, let's do it."

My hands were shaking, I'm not even kidding. Last time I had stood infront of a crowd was in  third grade's talent competition, and that didn't go very well, I had thrown up all over me, the stage and the judges. That story couldn't repeat itself. Jesus, I mean this interview would even like air on TV.  "Welcome to the stage Justin Bieber!" I heard the host call. The audience went crazy. I thought I was going to be deaf. "The host will call you in a minute." Justin said and pecked my lips before he walked down on the stage. The girls screamed even louder, if that was even possible. I stood there, and I stood there, and I stood there. I stood there in what seemed like forever. Finally, I heard the host start talking about something else than what Justin thought of America. "So Justin.." He said. "Yeah?" I could hear he was smiling just by the tone in his voice."You brought someone with you today didn't you?" Oh god here we go. "Yeah." He giggled and the crowd 'awed'. "So let's welcome to the stage, Karla!" I took a deep breath then I walked around the corner o f the stage and felt blinded by the big lights. The crowd was a mixture between surprise and fangirls. I focused on walking over to the couch were Justin sat. Somehow I reached them. The interviewer reached his hand out towards me. I took it in mine and greeted him with a smile spread across my lips. I sat down beside Justin on the couch. He intertwined his fingers with mine. The crowd calmed down and the interviwer crossed his legs. "So, Karla. You are sort of the big news, the one everybody is talking about." I frowned and laughed. "I didn't know that." The crowd started to laugh with me. I didn't get it, why were they laughing I wasn't even trying to be funny. "So we all have to know the truth, are you an item?" He leaned forwards slightly. I glanced at Justin, he smiled discreetly and sqeezed my hand. I could do this. "Uhm, I guess you could say we are?" The crowd were once again a mix. Half of them were dying in 'aw' heaven, and the other half screamed the nastiest things I had ever heard. I wouldn't let them get to me. I was with Justin, they had to deal with it whether they liked it or not.

The rest of the interview felt like a normal conversation. We talked about my family, how me and Justin met and so on. After he had driven me home Justin led me to my door, I was exhausted. "So that went well." He said when he pulled away from our hug. "Yeah, well sort of, did you hear what they were screaming?" He shrugged his shoulders. "Learn not to listen too them babe." He took my face in his hands and kissed my lips gently. "Haters won't affect us." He pulled me into his warm embrace before I went into my house.

A/N finally a new chapter! Haha :D just because I kept you waiting for so long this chapter is a bit longer than the others. Stay tuned! -Emma
