1. Dann's Intro

Beyond the countless weeping vales,
Amongst the forlorn daunting wails,
Sat a bride I knew all too well,
Until the darkness around her fell.

An age has passed since that day,
gone now the laughter of our play,
I sit beneath the looming vines,
And look for a love that I can't find.

The hurt is much for all to see,
These days I'm not what I planned to be,
No child or dog or loving wife,
Just the grave of my love and this tender knife.
