5 minutes of fame

Kayla has always been bullied for her weight at school. On a daily basis she comes home to her parents arguing about money. She has nobody to open up to, until her life takes a spin when she sends a suicidal tweet to Niall Horan. Who changes her life.

1. Welcome to my life

My name is Kay Jade Matthews. I am your average teenager who goes to a public high school  Unlike most girls who go to my school, I don't have any designer bags, high end clothes or tons of make-up  In fact I prefer natural over cake face. Don't get me wrong I wear concealer and foundation if I break up. I don't go all Barbie style for school.

I don't have any friends in school. You can say that I am a loner, but I am a Directioner and I know I belong in my directioner family. Pretty much all girls in my school are "directioners" they only like the boy's looks and style not their talent like I do. I wouldn't care if I saw Louis wearing a teddy bear outfit, but you have got to agree that it would look adorable on him.

Today was a casual Friday afternoon, I was sitting under the tree reading a book called The Mocking Jay. It was lunch hour and most of the students were with their friends. The famous girls at school came by me and said. "Kay why are you so ugly?"

I didn't look up. I could feel tears forming in my eyes. Don't cry Kay you have to be strong. Don't let them see you cry. Don't you dare to cry you hear me I thought to myself.

"Hey everyone, Kay here is going to be selling her body for 5$ after school," Felicia their leader called out

Everyone were laughing. A couple guys screamed why the price was so high. Felicia heard that lifted her head up and yelled back.

"You are right 5$ is too damn high. How about 10 cents? That's good right? A cheap product always attracts lots of customers" She said and glared at me

I got up and ran where my eyes could take. I could't take it any more  I was sobbing my eyes out. I ran home. I didn't care if I skipped calculus. I couldn't stand being in that class anyway.

I came home to my parents shouting at each other. It was something about my dad not getting a job. I was sick and tired of my parents' constant fighting about my dad getting a job. My dad got laid off for loosing a case last month ever since we had a hard time coming up with money, even though my mom worked 2 jobs at the hospital working as a janitor and a nurse. When I arrived my mom started screaming at me for skipping school. I couldn't say anything. I would never talk back to my mom, I was really scared of her.

"Get a job already Kayla! You are turning 18 soon! Your damn father cant keep a stable job for God's sake!"

Welcome to my life.
