Little Talks

"I don't like walking around this old and empty house."
~
"Are you sure about this Zayn?" I asked with my hands grasping over the railing, wind blowing through my hair. "Don't worry." He tells me. "I'm nervous as much as you. But these little talks don't last long."
My summer was basically ruined thanks to my mother. After high school graduation, she forced me to work on the cruiseline she owns instead of giving me a choice if I want to like my older sister. But the first day of the cruise, the first day I saw them being complete dumbos. That day I didn't know that I would love one of them. Zayn was right, these little talks don't last long.

47. The final countdown

"And for the final time tonight, what will you be singing, Miss Britta?" Richard asked.

I wanted to make this a surprise, so I walk over and whispered my song to him. "Okay, then. Here's Britta singing...the song she doesn't want me to say."

"First, I want to say, this song is for a really good friend of mine and what we've been through in our relationship as friends so far." I add.

This one's for Zayn.

"I only miss you at midnight
But when that lonely clock strikes
That's when I wish you were here
The angel knows it’s not right
But the devil's in my heart tonight
Whispering things in my ear
So I down my cup
And then I hit you up
Saying stupid stuff
Oh
I should've just gone to bed
I should've never called you
I should've listened to my head
When it said leave it alone
No, a few drinks in
Here I go missing you again
God only knows what I said
I should've just gone to bed
All day long I'm over you
Never really think of you
I keep you out of my head
But some nights when I'm striking out
You're all I can think about
Just gotta have you again
So I down my cup
And then I hit you up
Saying way too much
Oh
I should've just gone to bed
I should've never called you
I should've listened to my head
When it said leave it alone
No, a few drinks in
Here I go missing you again
God only knows what I said
I should've just gone to bed
I should've turned the lights out
I should've called it a night
You should've never picked up my phone call
If you're not sleeping here tonight
I should've just gone to bed
I should've never called you
I should've listened to my head
When it said leave it
I should've just gone to bed
I should've never called you
I should've listened to my head
When it said leave it alone
No, a few drinks in
Here I go missing you again
God only knows what I said
I should've just gone to bed
I should've gone to bed."

I did it! I did it! I did it! Okay, that sounded a little like Dora.

I scratch the back of my neck and head back to my seat. "Was that for you know who?" Dani asked.

"Yep." I reply.

"Good choice." El added on.

"Hey, Britta." Josie started, "Why did you choose that song?"

I smirk. "It's a long story." I answer.

"Can you tell us tomorrow?" Nicole asked.

"Or text us when you get back to the ship?" Eleanor asked also.

"I'll tell you later." I look over and see Rachel is crying. "Rach, what's wrong?"

"I-I went t-to go to t-the bat-throom and when I turned t-the corner, I saw N-Niall k-kissing a-another g-girl."

I stare at Josie. "I swear to God, I never touched him!" She's telling the truth.

"I-It wasn't y-you." Rachel sobbed. But who?

"Kaitlyn's here?!" Josie almost yelled, but kept quiet. "Damn it!"

"Who?" I ask. Now I'm the one asking questions.

"Kaitlyn Dietz was Niall's girlfriend before I was. Before me and Niall dated, we were friends and she had a huge crush on him. So i helped her get with him. But then she dumped him for the star of the football team."

"Why would anyone dump a big time pop star for a secondary school star football player?" Becca asked.

"This was before Niall was famous." Josie reminded us.

Now I'm dumbfounded.

"Alright!" Richard announces. Hear are what each singer sung tonight! Now because I'm too lazy to pull up the applaud meter, just text your votes to KARAOKIEDOKIEFRE. Text #karaokegirls for the girls or #karaokeboys for the boys. I feel like a television saying that. Competitors, you can't vote. Alright, and send in your votes!"

A/N: alright, so this is the part where I ask you guys to decide, so *in Big Brother voice when announcing something for America* it's time for you guys to vote! Which group do you think should win? Just comment who you think should win: boys or girls?

For girls, comment #karaokegirls

For boys, comment #karaokeboys

Voting ends Sunday at midnight! Standard carrier rate may apply.

Okay, back to regular. So this up and coming Saturday, I won't update AT ALL. I'm going to Cedar Point with my friends and spending the night at one of their house. Then on Sunday, I'm going with another friend and her family to a signing for the CLEVELAND INDIANS!! I hope I get to meet Nick Swisher. He's my favorite player. My friend is going to an Emblem3 concert on Sunday. And my other friend is going to his concert and meeting him two days after my other friend's Emblem3 concert.

So that's all. Sideways marching is painful!
