Louis' point of View

Eleanor, Harry and Anne all arrived at the hospital at the same time. They must've all taken the same car or taxi.

"What's the word?" Eleanor asked as she basically ran into my arms and hugged me.

"Her arm is broken, and her head just needed a few stiches. She has no brain swelling or anything... but the doctors want her here for a while. They don't know what caused the seizure and want to run some tests. But, of course, they will need Niall and Amber's permission, but we can't get ahold of them." My stomach tightened as I said the words out loud. This must just be one huge nightmare...

"Maybe they just are someplace out of service and lost track of time," Anne quickly predicted. "Don't worry. If they're not back by morning, then we will worry."

"Can we see her?" Eleanor asks me. Her face is strained with worry.

"Of course. She's just through the hallway here. I didn't want to be right in front of her room because I wanted the doctors to have room to work. And it's very crowded back there with the security guards."

"She's a famous baby," I answered Anne. "A famous baby in a vulnerable place." I started walking down the hall. Zara had a room to herself, unlike the other children and babies in the ward, and it was a big room. The small crib at the edge of the room looked even smaller in the room. Chairs lined one wall, and a door to a private bathroom was on the other end. There was a small closet and curtains pushed to the side which would have separated the room.

The constant beep of the heart machines seemed to comfort us all as we looked at her, and then sat on the chairs against the wall, leaning against each others shoulders. The nurses constantly came and went throughout the night as we all drifted in and out of sleep.
