Jen's mother's point of view:

"JEN?!? JEN?!?!  WHERE ARE YOU JEN?!?!"

I run into Christina's mother on the beach.

"Christina!?!?! Chris?!?!?"

"You cant find Christina either? I cant find my daughter."

"Jen is missing too?"

"Yes. I have been looking all over for her. Where could she be?"

"Wherever they i are i hope they have each other."

"I have a bad feeling about this. Christina has ocd. She is never late being home. And Jen, she has always been a good child. Never hesitates to call if she is going to be late."

"Is your husban-"

"Yup. He left around 8."

"Oh good. So he is looking?"

"Ye- oh sorry. That is him now."

She answers her phone and listens intently. After her husband speaking she collapses into the sand.

"What is wrong?"

"There is a note at my house. He said the back door was open. I left it open to find Christina. Would you like to come read it with me?"

Christina's mom's point of view:

The walk from the beach to my house is long and painful. Not knowing what the note is about. Who it is from. It could be a runaway note for all i know. Maybe suicide. Maybe she drowned herself in the ocean. I don't know what to expect when walking into my house. Overcome with questions about when i last saw my daughter, i make my way to my husband crying on the couch.

"How bad is it?"

"Read it for yourself."

I grab the note from his outstretched hand.

"We have your daughter. She is safe...for now. We have not yet any intentions for your daughter. Death? Ransom then death? Throw her off a bridge? Our intention was one girl. When the other showed up screaming your daughters name we had to take her as well. She is just a pawn. Jen, is it? She will be dead in a matter of days. Don't you worry. You have at least a month before i kill poor little Christina."

Jens mother bursts out into tears. She had been reading over my shoulder. I feel horrible. I cant even imagine how she must feel. I at least was told i have a little while before my daughter is killed. She on the other hand was told her daughter would be dead soon.

"We have to find them john. Very fast. Jen doesn't have that long."

"I know. I know. I just don't even know where to begin. We cant answer any questions. We don't know anything."

"The last time we saw her was what... 10 last night?"

"As usual. Every night at 10 she disappears into her bedroom."
