Alea needed to get away. Her mother had just died in a car crash and her father was always drunk. Her brother was the only thing she had until he went off to college. One night Alea came home to her dad drunk and he kicked her out. She's on the streets alone. What will happen when it is pouring rain and five boys, one direction, see her on a park bench?

20. Thank you LouLou16

Hi everybody! I would just like to start by saying thank you to everyone who took the time to read my stories. I haven't updated in about six months so it's really neat to see all of the comments about Star. If you don't know what I'm talking about you can read that short story so you know what I'm talking about. It's called The Power of Friendship. If you don't have time that's fine but I really just wanted this chapter to be about one person even though I owe it to all of you. Plus, if you didn't read that story here's basically all you need to know.

My best friend Star has been through very hard times. You know that time when you feel like you're going to explode if you don't tell someone something? Well that's what I felt like. I was done with all of the drama, someone needed to know. I first found Movellas a couple years back and I thought it was pretty cool. It let anyone who wanted to be an author follow their dreams. It was in senior year that I'd had enough. We can't just live like this, with bottled up emotions. Bullies ruin everything. Social status, friendships, and even lives. Star was almost a victim of suicide. That's just not right. So anyway, I though maybe I would write a story, someone would understand, maybe even make a few friends. But this is incredible. So many people willing to write super nice comments. 16, to be exact. I know you probably think that that's a super small number, but that's huge to me and her. I would write the story, and Star would read the comments. It brought us closer, if possible. I just... we're so happy that nice people still come through the situation and help. So with out further ado, I want to thank someone who truly knows the meaning of friendship.

         Dear LouLou16,

It's people like you that save lives. Star's mom has just died in a car crash and we both went into a horrible depression. She was like a mother to me, and you made us smile for the first time in three months. Your kindness warmed my heart, I can't believe someone could be that thoughtful. Reading your comment honestly brought tears to my eyes. I really don't want to say this but it's true. You saved her life. She was literally hanging on to one last hope. I saw the comment and was so happy. I brought it over to her house to show her, and I couldn't believe my eyes. The rope was hanging. She was on a ladder. You saved her. No lie. Your a saviour. There needs to be more people like you on Earth.

       Love,

          Lexi. <3
