This is happening as if Louis was never in One Direction, but he does still know the boys.

Ali doesn't want to move. She doesn't want to leave her best friend, Ella, on senior year. Ella was the gorgeous one who always got the boys, while Ali barely ever got a second glance. But when she is forced to move to London, she finds Louis, a boy who is kind hearted and caring.

1. The Plane Ride There

I can't believe it. I just can't. I cannot process that my life in Vancouver, BC is going to be a part of my past. This isn't what I wanted, but my parents forced me to move. They said it was what was best for not only my parent's careers, but mine too. My parents owned a fashion company called "Unique", so I understand why they'd want to move to England, but I just wanted to be a make-up and hair stylist, which I could have done in L.A. Consequently, I was pushed out the door leaving my best friend, Ella, to fend for herself during senior year. Sure, she had other people to hang out with, but she didn't trust anyone like she trusted me.

Ella and I have been friends since grade one. We've been joined to the hip ever since. Now I was moving to Europe, halfway across the world. We'd be in different time zones, with only the internet to close the distance between us. God, I'm going to miss seeing her happy-go-lucky smile. Her beautiful chocolate brown eyes. Everything about her. I was always jealous of the way she always looked flawless without trying. I could never compete with her. She was the tall, blonde, goddess kind of girl. The kind that when she walked into a room, all eyes flew to her. Then there was me; I'm just a bit taller than five feet, I have deep brown hair, and eyes that ranged from grey, to blue, to green, depending on the colour top I was wearing. I was never noticed when I stood next to her. Which is probably why I never went to parties or anything. It made my self esteem feel pretty low.

Anyways, here I was, sitting in the airport, waiting for the flight that would take me to London. I texted Ella for the last time, saying "bye babe, boarding the plane soon. xx". I almost cried right then and there thinking about it. Breathe in, breathe out. I thought to myself, biting my lips and squeezing my butt-cheeks. That always helped me not to cry, I'm not too sure why, though.

"Ali?" my mom's voice pounded through my ears as I peeked up at her. "Our gate was called. It's time to go now." she said in a quiet voice, smiling. How could she smile at a time like this? I quickly gathered my stuff, turning off my phone and storing it inside my purse. I faked a smile as my mother, father, and my younger sister, Hayden led me to the line of people boarding the plane.

On the plane, each row had three seats. Hayden, who's 13, insisted that she had to sit in the middle of mom and dad, leaving me sitting the row behind them, with two random strangers. Yay, I thought while plunking down into the window seat. I just wanted this flight to be over; however, that was going to take about twelve hours. I pulled out the book I brought for the plane ride. I knew that I'd be done it in about six hours, but I was bored. I was completely zoned out of the world and focused on my book so I didn't notice when someone sat down next to me.

"What are you reading?" said a friendly, masculine voice with a heavy British accent.

Without looking up, I replied in monotone, "Mockingjay."

"Like the sequel to the Hunger Games?" the voice questioned again. This time, I looked up to find a gorgeous boy, around my age, with a medium brown, messy hair-do, and eyes the colour of the Caribbean sea, staring back at me.

"Ye-yeah." I spat out, almost starstruck by his smile. He smirked, knowing he caused the stutter that escaped my lips.

"I'm Louis. What's your name?"

"Is that your full name, beautiful?" He spoke, making me blush. No one has ever called me that, except for Ella.

"No, but only the people I know well and am close with know my full name, which is only about four people." I whispered and looked away from his gaze, still blushing from his words.

"Can we make it five?" He leaned closer, and i got a whiff of his cologne. Mmmm. Wait, was a guy actually showing interest in me for once?

"Maybe," I leaned a bit closer, "if we get to know each other a bit." And we did.

Louis and I talked about everything. From why we were on this plane, to personal information, like how many relationships we've been in.
"I've been in about three serious ones." He stated. "But none of them worked out." Louis eyes escaped my hold, so he was looking down at his hands that were folded in his lap.

"If it makes you feel any better, I haven't had any relationships. Serious or not." It was my turn to look away. I stared at my bottled water on the tray in front of me.

"Why not? You're stunning as hell." I found his gaze, which was full of truth and honesty. Before I could say anything, the pilot announced that we'd be landing soon. That was twelve hours already? Wow! I adjusted myself to be sitting in my seat so I was facing the seat in front of me and not Louis anymore; he did the same.

A few moments passed before I turned my head to face him once more to say with a smile, "My full name's Alizandra, by the way." He returned my smile. "What a lovely name."
