41. Is Everything Ok?

Lili's POV

I freaked out a bit. I turned to look at Liam and he was just looking between me and Quinn. I had to think fast.

"Knew... that..." I started. I had to think.

"Knew that you would be up for me to make pancakes for you two," Liam smiled. I looked at him and he gave me a quick wink.

"So you had to yell it?" Quinn asked still rubbing her eyes. This is perfect. She is still tired and groggy which means she doesn't think straight which means she will believe almost anything you tell her.

"Sorry," I smiled. "I am bit hyper at the moment," I laughed. Quinn shook her head and sat down at the table.

"So I see you are more open with us," Liam smiled at Quinn. Quinn looked confused. Liam pointed to her prosthetic leg. She was wearing shorts around the lads more often. I noticed Quinn blush a bit and then turn her head away so no one could see her blush. I noticed Liam smirk at that.

"So... When do we leave for Paris?" I asked Liam. He got out the rest of the pancake ingredients and then turned to Quinn and I.

"We leave later today. I think tonight actually," Liam informed us. And that's how the rest of our conversations started. We, mostly Liam and I, talked about like everything while he made pancakes. He made enough for the three of us and once we were finished, made more for the rest of the lads. Around seven, the lads started to wake up and came into the kitchen for breakfast. I left in the middle of their breakfast and went to get ready for the day ahead. I went to my suitcase and got out my peach belted lace tiered dress. I changed into that and then did my hair. I fish-tailed it and was packing up some last minute things when I heard some glass break. I threw down the clothes in my hands and ran to where I thought the glass broke. I ran into the kitchen to see Quinn in Liam's arms and water and glass by them.

"LOUIS!" I yelled. Louis was soon by my side.

"Yes baby sis?" he asked. I pointed to the broken glass that surrounded Liam and Quinn. He looked at it then nodded. "On it," he said before running out of the kitchen. He came back with shoes on and a broom and dustpan. He walked carefully over to Liam and Quinn and cleaned up the glass around them. Liam picked Quinn up a bit and carried her to a dining chair.

"You ok?" he asked her. She simply nodded. "No glass hit you?" he asked worried. She smiled at that and shook her head. He sighed. "Good."

"You ok?" she asked him. He smiled and nodded. I saw Louis got a towel and was cleaning up the water.

"What happened?" I asked.

"I was getting water when I slipped on some and lost my balance. Liam caught me and the glass broke," she told me. I nodded. Louis finished up the mess and nodded at me.

"Thanks Boo-Bear," I smiled. He just looked at me and smiled.

"No problem baby sis," he smiled. Zayn then came into the kitchen.

"Hey, Simon wants to meet with us before we leave," he informed Louis and Liam. They nodded and he walked out.

"Will you two be ok while we are gone for an hour or so?" Louis asked making me laugh.

"Please. I am as old as you. We will be fine," I laughed. He smiled and then kissed the top of my head. He, Liam, and the rest of the lads said goodbye and left. I got up from the table and was about to walk out when I noticed Quinn didn't get up. "You coming?" I asked her. She just looked at me. I knew something was wrong. "What's wrong?" I asked worried.

"Well, when I slipped, I think something snapped in my leg," she mumbled. I looked at her. She nodded towards her prosthetic leg. My eyes went wide and she just kept her head down.

"Can you walk on it?" I asked worried. She shrugged and stood up. As soon as she did, she started to go down. I dashed over to her and caught her. "My guess is a no," I said. I helped Quinn sit back down and she had some tears coming out of her eyes. "Don't cry Quinn," I soothed. She just shook her head.

"Lili, I can't walk on it and I don't my wheel chair or anything!" she almost yelled. "And we leave tonight," she whispered. I just looked at her.

"I guess we should call Dr. Porter," I told her and she nodded.

After about a half on hour call, Quinn was finally done talking to him. I just looked at her.

"Well, he said that I should take the leg off completely for now and take it easy. He said to not go out unless I HAVE to. He said he will try to meet up with us in Paris but he doesn't know for sure. He said he would look at it and see if he can fix it. If not, I will have to be without it the rest of the summer because that shouldn't have broke. Plus it is going to be awhile before he can get a new one for me," Quinn informed me. I heard her sniffle and saw a few tears fall.

"Don't cry Quinn," I tried to sooth but she just shook her head.

"I can't do anything without it. We are always traveling and it has been almost 13 years without it, sure it happened almost 15 years ago but I was young then. I thought that having no leg was cool and stuff, but now..." she couldn't even finish her sentence because she was crying too much. I just looked at her. She sniffled a few times and then began to take the leg off. She had it off and threw it down. I bent down and picked it up and put it in her room. I walked back into the kitchen. I helped her walk into the living room. She sat on the couch and didn't say a thing.

"Quinn, don't do this now," I pleaded. She just sat there. That's when I heard the door to the hotel room open and the room was filled with laughs and talking. I glanced over and Quinn didn't budge. I decided to walk over to the lads.

"Hey Lili," Harry said as he stopped laughing. I just nodded at him with a smile.

"What's wrong?" Niall asked me seriously. I just looked back to Quinn. They all glanced at her then looked back at me.

"Is everything ok?" Liam asked worried.

"And your definition of 'ok' is?" I questioned. Liam, as well as the others, gave me a confused look. I sighed. "Quinn has to possibly go the rest of the summer without her prosthetic leg."
