Wanted You More

Bethany is top in her class, head-strong, and basically you're definition of a perfect girl but she has no intention of trying to be like every other girl and try to get Harry, the popular, good looking, soccer star, to like her...in fact, she doesn't really like him. But when Bethany is assigned to help Harry get his grades up and he realizes that Bethany is different than everyone else, will Bethany cave into giving Harry a chance or will she continue to stick to her idea that he is a spoiled, stuck up ass?

Includes sex, drugs, alcohol, self harm references/actions, and cursing.

22. Home

I directed Harry to my house and when he pulled up my driveway, I dropped his hand. I wiped my tears away, trying so hard not to start crying again.

“Bethany…do you want to reschedule the tutoring? We don’t need to do it today if you aren’t feeling up to it.” I took a deep breath and looked at him. He seemed genuinely concerned about me, but I didn’t want him to be.

“We can do it today. I have work every other day of the weak.” Harry nodded and unlocked the doors. I hopped out and noticed my mom wasn’t home. Great. She was going to kill me. I led Harry inside and he looked around.

“You have a nice house.” Harry said.

“It’s nothing compared to yours.” I said quietly.

“I’d rather live somewhere like here. It feels a lot more like a home than my house…” Harry whispered. I looked at him and he quickly looked away.

“The kitchen is over here.” I said, leading him down the hall. He followed me, dropped his backpack, and sat down. “Do you want anything to drink or eat?”

“Can I have some water?” I nodded and tossed him a water bottle. “Thanks.” I joined him at the table and we pulled out of homework and started working.
