Wanted You More

Bethany is top in her class, head-strong, and basically you're definition of a perfect girl but she has no intention of trying to be like every other girl and try to get Harry, the popular, good looking, soccer star, to like her...in fact, she doesn't really like him. But when Bethany is assigned to help Harry get his grades up and he realizes that Bethany is different than everyone else, will Bethany cave into giving Harry a chance or will she continue to stick to her idea that he is a spoiled, stuck up ass?

Includes sex, drugs, alcohol, self harm references/actions, and cursing.

64. Call Me Crazy

After a couple hours, we left the beach and I drove us to a nearby café. We settled in the back corner and ordered some coffee. We waited patiently for it but once it arrived, we were both holding it close to us for the warmth.

“I’m glad you convinced me into skipping today.” Bethany whispered. I looked at her and smiled.

“Of course; I wouldn’t want to spend any other day like this with anyone else.” She smiled and took another slow sip of her coffee.

“Where are we going after this?”

“Probably back home because school is almost over.”

“Awe…that’s no fun.” Bethany frowned and I reached for her hand over the table.

“Trust me, if today could go on forever, I would let it.” Bethany smiled shyly and leaned closer to me. I leaned in to meet her and gave her a soft kiss.

“You know, this is probably the best day I’ve had through all of high school.”

“You don’t like high school?”

“No it’s just…I’m forced to live by how my parents want me to live; school 24/7.”

“No one should have to live like that.” Bethany shrugged and pulled her hand from mine, leaning back into a normal position.

“That’s one reason I like you.”

“Because I cause trouble?” Bethany smiled and laughed a little but shook her head.

“No, because you know how to have fun. It’s nice being with someone who can have fun and not bring school into it.” This time I laughed since I really wanted nothing to do with school.

“Well, that’s where we are opposites- you do everything with school, I hate school. The funny thing is though; I want to go into law.”

“So I’ve noticed. How can you hate school but want to go into law?”

“I don’t really know, but it makes me have to actually try in school.” Bethany giggled and shook her head.

“You’re backwards.”

“Yeah, I am.” I smiled as I glanced at my watch and my smile fell. “We have to go.” Bethany sighed as we got up and walked to my car. We spent the rest of the way back to London singing along to the music that was playing.

I glanced over at her when I pulled up to her house. She sighed and grabbed her purse.

“Thanks for today, Harry.”

“Of course.” I nodded as she kissed my cheek before she hopped out of my car and ran inside. I watched her until I couldn’t see her anymore. Once she was inside, I started my drive home. Call me crazy…but I think I fell in love with Bethany today…
