Love You More

When Andrea moves to a new home with her brother, John, and her dad, her whole life goes way different than expected. One day when she meets a cute boy at a cafe, everything turns up-side-down, but she doesn't really seem to care all that much. (Really short!!)

5. Something Special

We both looked down staying silent. I was awkwardly playing with my thumbs holding the warm coffee in my hands. He was just looking down at the cup blankly, as he was before. Then I looked up and noticed him staring at me, but he quickly looked back down. I couldn't help but giggle a little, and I saw him smiling.

"So, what's your name?" I asked trying to get  a conversation going.

"Harry, yours?"

"I'm Andrea, nice to meet you." I said with a smile.

The left corner of his mouth raised a bit, I could tell he was trying to keep himself from smiling.

"Nice to meet you, too."

He let out a breath and smiled down at his hands, then looked up again.

"So, how are you?" He asked

"Oh, I'm good. I just moved in up the road and we were waiting for the truck to come with our stuff, so I decided to look around over here a little and I remembered seeing this place on the way, so, here I am!" I smiled and extended my arm as if to show my self off, we both laughed.

"Well that's good." He said with a smile,

"How are you?" I asked

"Oh, good. I live up there as well. Did you happen to get that nice little blue house on the hill? I saw that up for sale a couple months ago."

"That's the one!"

I giggled and he smiled once again. We both looked at each other and our smiles faded and left us just staring at each other. After what seemed like forever, we finally snapped out of it. He laughed awkwardly.

"I wish I knew where everything was . . . Geez this town is so... Cute! I guess I'll find my way around eventually." I giggled.

"You mind if I show you around? I know of a few special little places around here." He said

I smiled at him,

"Really? That would be wonderful!" I glanced at my watch and gasped, "Oh no!"

"What?!" He asked in a sort of panic,

"I was supposed be home about half an hour ago! Crap, I'm so sorry! How about we meet up here again tomorrow? Sayyyy... 10:00?"

"Sure thing, no problem!"

I smiled and thanked him, then went running home. I couldn't help but smile the whole way, just the thought of him was so . . . unexplainable, it just made me feel safe and happy. That nice warm fuzzy feeling you get when you can tell there's something special.

I got home and noticed my Dad had already put together my room, and it was perfect! That was good, because I was exhausted! I crashed down after changing into an old tee and fell asleep almost instantly.
