Love You More

When Andrea moves to a new home with her brother, John, and her dad, her whole life goes way different than expected. One day when she meets a cute boy at a cafe, everything turns up-side-down, but she doesn't really seem to care all that much. (Really short!!)

1. New Home

I woke up tired from yet another restless night. But, today was the big day. Many boxes ranging in sizes filled with my family's belongings were scattered all about our old and small house. A truck should be coming any minute to carry our things to the new home.

Half asleep, I walked to the kitchen to get Breakfast. I grabbed a bowl out of a large box sitting on the counter top and made cereal. Once I was done I washed my bowl and spoon and replaced them into the box. I started toward my room and saw many large men taking the boxes and putting them in a truck. I was about to say hello when I stopped myself. I realized that I was still in my pajamas and looked more of a zombie than a person. Shoot... I hid behind a wall and waited for them all to step outside and ran for my room at full speed. Once I reached it, I slammed the door shut and let out a sigh.

I walked to a box with some of my clothes in it and grabbed some light blue shorts, a dark red see-through tank top, and a black undershirt. I went into the bathroom and put my clothes and a towel on the counter. I stepped into the shower and turned it on "HOLY CRAP" the water was freezing! Oh, that's right, we had the water heater turned off. I turned off the shower and stepped out. Luckily, the towel was right out of the dryer, so it was warm. Once I was dry I changed into my clothes and wrapped my hair in another towel. I put on some powder foundation, a bit of eyeliner, and swept on some mascara. I dried my hair at let my brown curls fall down my back and over my shoulders.

After I got everything ready to go, I went outside to see the truck leaving, and my dad and John, my brother, walking to the house.

"All ready?" My dad asked,

"Alright, then let's go."

"Awwwww yeah, road trip!" John shouted as we got into the car.

We left for the new house. I was absolutely ecstatic to see our new home! It was Summer Break, so I wouldn't see my new school anytime soon, but I for sure was not complaining.
