Turning Hate Into Love (Narry)

Have you ever hated someone so much that the sound of their name makes your skin crawl? Just the thought of them makes you want to run away from everything? I know I do. I, Niall Horan, have had to put up with this ever since I started High School three years ago. I always thought that he’d back off, that he’d get bored of me but no. One Harry Styles just can’t get enough of me and soon I won’t be able to get enough of him, because of one Stupid mistake I’ll make that changes the way I’ve lived my life without him.

1. Chapter One:

I looked down at the old photograph, all the memories we had roaming around my head. I couldn’t believe how much he’d change in such a short time. It’d only been a couple of years but for me it felt like decades of torture. I folded up the photo of the two smiling boys and slid it into the back of my Wallet, which has been its home for quite a while now.

“Niall!” I heard my Mom yell from downstairs, “It’s time to get to School now love.” I sighed heavily and ran a hand through my dyed blonde hair. It was the beginning of a new year, I was hoping for a fresh start but knowing him how I do, he wouldn’t. He’d continue to make my life hell until I cracked.

I sighed once more before picking up my pack bag, could never be too prepared for the first day of School. You never know what you’ll get up to. “Niall, you really need to come down stairs!” My Mom yelled once more.

“Coming Mom.” I simply replied scanning my room to make sure everything was in order before I left. “Perfect.” I mumbled, turning to the door and walking out.

“There’s my boy.” I jumped at the sound of his voice. “Are you scared of me now Babe?” He asked in a –fake- sadden tone.

“Oh course not.” I replied turning around to see his dark brown eyes staring at me, he quickly link his arms around my body until they resting gently on my back. “That creeps me out.”

I said, looking into his eyes.

“What creeps you out Babe?” He asked innocently, continuing to stare at me with those eyes of his.

“Them.” I point at his eyes. “They’re so…so…so Puppy like,” I stuttered. “and they give me the creeps sometimes.” I shrugged, stepping out of his grip as my Mom walked into the room.

“Aw, you know you can still hug when I’m around.” She smiled sweetly.

“It’s alright Mom.” I mumbled, rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly.

“But you two are so cute!” She squealed. I turned to look at Liam who had a massive grin on his face.

“Thank you.” He replied sheepishly.

“Come on Liam, School time.” I groaned grabbing his arm and pulling him out of the kitchen.

“Love you snookums!” I heard my Mom yell as I got to the front door.

“You’re so embarrassing Mom!” I replied, closing the door behind us.

As me and Liam walked up to the old battered School, hand in hand, many people stared at us. “Are you sure coming out was a good idea?” Liam questioned, turning to face me.

“Hey, I’ve been out since High School started, and I’m sure everyone even knew before then.” I replied, smiling at his nervousness.

“Yeah, but you’re Bi. I’m gay. Which means no interest in girls…At all.” He took his hand out of mine and continued walking up to the School.

“Liam! Liam!” I yelled, about to chase after him when I felt a strong grip around my left forearm.

“Well isn’t it ‘Mr. I’m-Gay-Now’.” I cringed at the sound of his voice. It was that one voice that used to mean the world to me, and now I just wish he’d rot in hell.

“I’m not gay Harry, I’m-”

“We’ve heard it all before Niall.” He cut me off. “I’m not Gay, I’m Bi.” He said, mimicking my voice.

“If you don’t shut up and let me go to my Boyfriend, you’ll go Bye bye.” I stared at him coldly.

“Oh, so Horan’s got a back bone does he now?”

“Harry, shut up.” I turned to see Zayn, my Best Friend, walking over to us.

“Oooh, got a body guard now, Horan?”

“I mean it dude.” Zayn standing rather close to Harry. “Back off or I’ll punch you.”

“Yeah, cause I’m scared of some wannabe bad boy.”

“You can’t talk, what are you?”

“Back off, Malik.” I looked to the left of Harry to see his Best Friend Louis Tomlinson standing there, arms crossed over his chest.

“Who's the one with the body guard now, Styles?” Zayn asked with a smirk.

“All of you just shut it!” I yelled through gritted teeth. “Harry, you’ve caused me a life time of hell, can’t you just hurry up and get over yourself?” I watched as a weird expression crossed his face. Pain? Was he feeling Pain, from what I said?

“Get out of my site, Horan!” He yelled, throwing my arm out of his grip. “And if I see you or Zayn, or your ‘Boyfriend’ this afternoon, I’ll make that life time of hell, just a bit worse.” He smirked, before turning around to head the opposite way of the School.

“Jerk.” I mumbled, pulling up the sleeve of my Black Jacket. “Bitch made my cuts bleed.”

“Niall!” Zayn yelled, throwing his hand down onto my arm, making me wince. “You said you’d stopped.”

“I’m sorry, but Queen Bitch over there gets to me sometimes.” I watched as Zayn tried to hold a laugh in. “What?”

“Queen Bitch?” He asked, chuckling to himself.

“I’m gay, I’m allowed to.”

“Bi.” He corrected me, before slinging an arm around my shoulders.

“Well, let’s just hope we don’t see him again. Or else I’m going to punch that smirk of his right off of his pretty face.”

“Who’s doing what?” I jumped at his voice for the second time today.

“Oh nothing.” I lied, stepping out of Zayn’s arm.

“Let me guess, he starts with a ‘H’ and ends with, ‘is gonna get his face punched in one day?”

“How’d you know Babe?” I winked, taking his hand in mine again.

“I’ve known you how long?” He laughed, smiling down at me.

“Too long.” I replied, pecking him gently on the lips.

“Plus I kind of heard the end of the conversation.” He smirked.

“Now that’s a smirk I don’t mind.” I smiled, taking his hand in mine. Liam began to pull me in the direction of the main stairs. “Come on, class is going to start soon guys.” I sighed heavily and ran a hand through my hair.

“I guess it’d be bad to skip on the first day back?” Zayn asked sarcastically, basically reading my mind.

“You know it.” Liam replied.

“Ugh, fine!” I whined, following my boyfriend up the stairs. “But you owe us at Lunch Time.” I laughed, pecking him on the cheek before running up the stairs with Zayn.
