5. Foolish Behavior on Both Ends

*Lucy's POV*

After arriving back at our hotel, I could feel a headache coming on. Courtney had been bouncing around in the streets after dinner from pure excitement for about an hour. We didn't get back to the hotel until 9:00! I wanted to slap her. I was a little giddy myself because I know they're famous and all, but I'm not leaping around Boston telling everyone who passes by. But, maybe that's just me.

Once we got in our room, I quickly changed into a pair of yogas and my Harvard sweatshirt. Then I hurriedly grab my book then headphones and escape to the lobby. The elegant space felt like a dream. The grey marble accents on the arched doorways, the high ceilings, and giant antique chandelier in the center of the room all reaped sophistication. I made my way to the far end of the room, away from the front revolving doors, and plopped down onto the most comfortable leather chair my ass has ever graced. The smell of the red roses that are scattered on the dark maple décor fills my nose. I kick my feet onto the table, plug in my head phones and let Ed's angel voice fill my soul. I open up Mockingjay, and lose myself once again.

At about 11:00, the Grandfather clock in the middle of the room releases a large bong. Then all I can hear are shouts, loud bouts of laughter, and high pitch screams fill the lobby. I glance up to see who is disturbing my reading time and my mouth falls open.

No way.

My body reacts before I can even process what's happening. I jump and hide behind my chair and hope no one sees me. The reasons for my migraine are galloping around in the lobby like a bunch of young boys as opposed to the men they are. I pray they can't see me. I don't think I even remember any of their names and that'd be super embarrassing since I'm sure the psychotic girls outside would decapitate me for my position. I poke my head around just in time to make eye contact with emerald and I curse to myself as I pull my head back behind the chair. I swear I saw him smirk, the bastard. I curse my luck and devise a plan. I slowly start to look around the chair again and see no one's looking. I speedily begin to army crawl across the lobby as if my life depended on it. I get past the stupid marble archway and glance back to see if I was seen. The entire group at the front desk was holding back laughter and burst when they met my eyes, which were filled with embarrassment. I face palmed, turned, and ran to my room. I hope to God I never have to speak with them again!

*Harry's POV*

The boys and our team push our way into the hotel, signing some CDs as we pass through. I will never stop being amazed by how dedicated our fans are. It blows my mind! Louis starts cracking jokes and chasing me around the lobby. Everyone is laughing and enjoying themselves when I turn my head and see a flash of red hair fly behind a leather chair. I can't help but laugh at her crazy behavior. I elbow Zayn and Niall who are to my left and right and point to the girl. Her red converse were sticking out from behind the leather chair. They in turn get Liam and Louis' attention as we watch a crazy ginger begin to army-crawl across the lobby floor. It's difficult to contain our amusement until she tries to sneakily see our reaction. That's when we lose it. I see her slap her face with her hand, turn, and run off. I feel bad for laughing, but really, she was crawling on the floor to escape us! I shake my head and to the boys to see them grinning at me. I give them a quick glare and turn to Eileen, the girl at the front desk. She's staring at me with her hand holding her face up and a Dar off look in her eyes. I feel a little uncomfortable with the way she's looking at me but I ignore it.

"Hey Eileen, did you give the girls the tickets?"

She stares at me for a couple seconds before answering. "What? Oh yes I brought them to their room a couple minutes before you came in. The girl almost fainted because she was excited! It was so generous of you to give them those tickets. I bet you do that all the time. You seem the type. You're such a gentleman, Harry." Then she starts to ,what I assume she believed was flirty, grab onto my arm. I give her a small smile, thank her and escape from her roaming eyes and death grip.

The boys are all snickering at my awkward conversation as we make our way to our rooms. We all race to the elevator and head to the penthouse. One of the many perks of being an international pop star included the best hotel rooms. Once Paul swiped a card, we shot up and the doors slid open to reveal a giant entry way to the penthouse suite. The boys and I scramble to claim the best rooms. I leap-frogged over Louis as Zayn pushed him to the ground and I took off running. I, having the longest legs in the group, won the race for the single room, forcing the others to take the doubles. My bachelor lifestyle requires space!

I lugged my suitcase in my room and jumped onto the queen size mattress. As I feel my exhaustion start to take over, copper hair and a gorgeous face fills my mind. I start to wonder what she's like. Does she like pasta? What's her favorite color? How many siblings does she have? I quickly scold myself for being so corny. Why should I care about stupid things like that? So lame. Instead, I start to imagine her sitting by the pool like she was earlier, smiling and giving me a little wave and a wink. I smile to myself, definitely ready for tomorrow.
