4. Hangovers

Harry’s POV

The first thing I noticed when I began to wake up was this never ending pounding in my head. It felt like there was someone sitting next to me banging on my head like it was a drum set. It also felt like I had swallowed sand and I could barely move my muscles.

I tried to open my eyes, but I couldn’t, no matter how hard I tried. Then something hit my shoulder making me groan. “Harry, wake up.” I rolled over, ignoring the person, trying to go back to sleep. But the person would not leave me alone.

“Haz, wake up!” and with a grunt the person shoved me off the bed.

My eyes flew open as I landed on the floor, “Uh, ow! What the hell was that for?!” I looked up and saw Louis glaring down at me.

“What was that for? That was for you leaving rehearsals to go get drunk off your ass at some club without telling anyone where you were going. Then at 3:30 in the morning I get a call from your phone from some girl saying that you had passed out at the club.” Louis explained, getting angrier as he continued talking.

I thought about what he said. All I remember was going to the club with the intention of getting drunk and bringing a girl home with me. I do remember dancing with a hot blonde chick, but that was the last thing before my memory went fuzzy.

I sat up, rubbing my temples. “Well, I’m back now, so you can stop yelling.” I told him.

“I don’t know what your problem has been lately, but whatever it is, fix it. The boys and I are done cleaning up your messes and covering your ass." I looked up as Louis walked out of the room. I sighed and crawled back onto the bed.

Hah, Louis thinks I have a problem. What’s his problem? All I’m doing is going out and having fun. Living while I’m young; I mean isn’t that what our song was about. And now he was getting mad at me, when we’ve been telling our fans to do the same. Plus, it’s not like he’s my mother; he can’t tell me how to live my life. I reached into my pocket and pulled out my cell phone because let’s face it, there bound to be some made up story online about how I slept with some random girl. Granted, that’s why I went to the club in the first place, I didn’t go home with a girl.

I held the phone up to my face and squinted at it. This wasn’t my phone. I had an iPhone and this was an Android.

I groaned because if I didn’t find my phone Simon was going to kill me; especially if my phone was in the hands of a fan. That could be disastrous.

I pushed the button on the side of the phone and the lock screen lit up. There was a picture of a guy with his arms around a girl with 2 different colored eyes. The girl looked familiar, but I couldn’t remember where I’d seen her before. But what caught my attention was what the girl was holding. In her arms was an infant; probably no more than a year old. I looked back to the girl, who looked around my age.

My eyes narrowed at the picture. And people thought I was the whore when there were girls having kids at this age.

All I was doing was having some fun, no harm done. I was at least smart enough to use protection.

I threw the phone on the bed and rolled over to put my face in the pillow, when something stabbed me in the side. I grunted before pulling out the object which just happened to be my phone this time. Now the question is how the hell did I end up with two phones in my pants.

I smirked at that. I bet the girl slipped it to me in hope I would find her to return it. Go figure; a typical fan move.

I picked up the phone and tried to get it to the home screen. Luckily it was unlocked, probably planned, so I decided to go through the person’s pictures. I’m going to take a guess and say this was a girl’s phone because of the purple and blue case, but you never know. This girl had a lot of photos of her kid on here and there was also quite a few of the guy that was in her background picture. He must be her boyfriend.

Hmm, I kind of feel like a stalker going through her phone like this, but how else am I supposed to figure out who she is, right?

Moving on, I went to her calendar. Anything interesting? I scrolled through, but didn’t see anything other than when she was scheduled to work at a place called Club Royale. And again, the name stirred my memory, but for the life of me I couldn’t remember where I knew the name from.

As I moved onto recent calls, she called some guy named Travis multiple times and I was about to continue looking through her phone, but the door opened. I dropped the phone directly onto my nose in surprise as Lou walked into the room. “Just making sure you haven’t choked on your own vomit yet. Wait, who’s phone is that?” he asked.

“Uh, no one’s. Just a friends, that I’m holding for them.” I said while rubbing my nose.

Louis wasn’t listening to me as he walked over and picked up the phone. He studied the picture before his face lit up in recognition. “I have an idea of whose phone this is, but how did you get it?” he asked, looking at me.

“How should I know? I don’t even have a clue as to who it belongs to, let alone how I have it.” I answered.

Louis just shook his head at my response. “Whatever, I’ll be in the kitchen. Want anything to eat? Maybe eggs or some bacon?”

At the mention of food, my stomach churned and I got up and ran to the bathroom. Lou showed no sympathy; he just chuckled and walked out of the room. I made it to the toilet in time as my stomach heaved and everything that I ate last night came back up.

I brushed my teeth before leaving the room and heading to the kitchen where I found Louis and Eleanor eating.

“How are you feeling?” Eleanor asked.

“Eh, alright I guess. Too much alcohol, but it was a fun night so it was worth it.” I answered.

She nodded and turned towards Louis, “What are you doing today, babe?”

I tuned out to what they were saying as I made myself a piece of toast. My thoughts drifted back to the phone. The girl was pretty and I mean seriously fit. She would be someone I would hook up with and I was wondering why I wasn’t sneaking out of her house after a night in bed with her. Not to sound full of myself, but girls always fell at my feet. The fact that this girl hadn’t made it into my bed last night was really irritating.

“Harry!” I jumped and turned to face Louis. “Don’t forget we have that meeting later.” I nodded with a mouth full of toast. “Well, El and I are going out, so just let yourself out when you want.” Louis said before walking out hand in hand with El.

About 5 minutes after they left, I figured I should go back to my house and shower. I cleaned up and left his house, calling a cab to bring me home.

Once home, I gulped down some medicine for my hangover then I stripped off my clothes and got in the shower, the hot water relaxing me and clearing my head. As I thought, I decided that I would try to find the girl that owned the phone so I could give it back to her. Although I do think she needs to keep better track of her things, especially if she had a kid. And what was she doing at a club when she had a kid at home that she needed to take care of? She must not be a good mother.
