1. Perfect Date 101.

- 1Shot41d -

"Boys, I need your help with something." I say, leaning against the kitchen counter. They all stop their conversations and turn to me with raised eyebrows.

"What is it?" Liam questions. Before I could answer, Louis beats me to it.

"Let me guess, you need our help with Amber. You want us to help you plan the perfect date for Valentine's day, right?" I raise my eyebrows at him, impressed. It's quite funny how we all know each other so well.

"Yeah, that's exactly right." I say as the boys groan. "Aw, come on, guys. I need this to be the perfect date. I would help any of you if you were in this situation."

"I am in this situation. So are Zayn and Liam. We all have girlfriends too." Louis explains.

"Yeah, but you have been with your girlfriends longer then I have been with Amber. I need to impress her." I say, combining my hands and pouting at them. "Please,"

They all sighed in unison before Zayn spoke up, "Fine, we'll help you plan the perfect date." He pats me on the back as I cheer loudly and envelop them all in a group hug. They all whimpered in pain, but that didn't stop me from continueing to hug them.

"Thank you! You are best best friends a man could ever ask for!" I yell before skipping off to my room, suddenly in a very good mood.

I take a deep breath and knock on Amber's door. As I waited for her to answer, I looked around the hallways in the apartment building. I nod my head happily. It's elegant yet modern and it looks very expensive.

"Hey, Harry." Amber's said, snapping me out of my daze. I turn my head back with a smile on my face, but it quickly drops in amazement once I see her. My eyes widen slightly as I look her up and down.

"Oh, um... hey, babe." I say, pulling her in and giving her a kiss on her red stained lips. She smiles at me when we both pull away. "You look... absolutely incredible." I breath out. Her strawberry blonde hair was slightly curled to perfection at the ends. Hugging her body is a light pink dress that ends at her knees. Covering her arms is a light blue jeans jacket and her black heels clacked against the hardwood floor with each step she took. She was definately, without a doubt, the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.

"Thank you, you look very handsome, as always." She says, causing me to blush. "I'm just going to grab my purse, I'll be out in a minute." I nod my head and suddenly remember the flowers behind my back. She comes back in less than a minute and steps out into the hall, shutting the door behind her and locking it.

"These are for you." I blurt out, taking the flowers out from behind my back and holding them in front of her. She turns around from locking her door and immediately, a big smile appears on her face.

"Their beautiful, Harry, thank you." She says, bringing the flowers up to her face and sniffing them with a smile.

"And, what kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't give you chocolates on Valentine's day?" I ask, holding out the red, heart-shaped box. She giggles and takes the chocolate.

"Flowers and choclate for Valentines day, how cliché." I chuckle and shrug my shoulder, entertwining her hand with mine as we walk down the hall.

"Don't worry, I have another gift for you." I say.

"Harry, I don't need another gift. Flowers and chocolate is all I need." She states, giving me a genuine smile.

"I know, but I'm still going to give it to you. Later, once we're on our date."

"FIne, but you don't get your present until later either." She huffs.

"Babe, you didn't have to get me a present. Your all I need." I explain, feeling bad that she spent money on me. Usually I don't like it when she buys stuff for me. It's my job to spoil her, not the other way around.

"Too bad, because I got you one anyways." She says. I shake my head and chuckle. By this time, we are already outside in the parking lot. Once we are at my car, I open the door for her.

~.~.~

"Harry, you didn't." Amber gasps, looking at the scene in front of her. I smile and bring her hand up to my mouth, leaving gentle kisses on it. She continues to look at what the boys and I had set up for her earlier. The big open field - that nobody ever uses - had a picnic blanket sprawled across the grass and a basket full of foods. Set up around the blanket was candles. She had always told me how a picnic was her ideal date, so I decided to finally give it to her.

"Happy Valentine's day, baby." I whisper in her ear, kissing the side of her head.

"Harry, this is perfect." She says as we both sit down on the blanket.

"I remember you saying that a picnic was your ideal date." I explain, getting some food out of the basket. I looked into her twinkling brown eyes as she stared at me adoringly.

"You remember that? I told you that ages ago." She says quietly. I smile at her and shrug my shoulders.

"I know, but I listen to you." I say, taking out the bottle of wine. "Want some?" I add, pointing to the bottle. She nods her head and takes the two glasses out of the basket. I take hold of the cork and pop it open. Suddenly, we are both getting drenched with red wine. It starts spraying everywhere, mostly on Amber. I try to find the cork in the grass, but it's too dark to see. I immediately throw it out of my hands.

Looking up at Amber, I see her clothes and face covered in wine. She put her hands up and felt her wet hair. Sticking her bottom lip out into a pout, she looks up at me. I put my hand over my mouth in attempt to muffle my laughing. Once I can't hold it in any longer, I take my  hand off and burst out laughing.

"Harry, this isn't funny." She whines, slightly giggling.

"I'm so sorry, babe. Do you want me to take you home so you can get a shower?" I ask. Before she could answer, we both felt rain drops hitting our skin. They come slowly, but rapidly their speed increases. Soon enough, we're both getting drenched in water. Great, this date is going fantastic.

"Looks like I won't have to. The rain will clean me up." She jokes, hopping off the grass. I look up at her as she stretches out her hand for me to take. I sigh and hop up with the help of her. "Let's dance." She says.

"Dance? There's no music though." I point out, furrowing my eyebrows together in confusion.

"We don't need music. Last time I checked, you're a popstar. Why don't you sing?" She suggests.

"Well, usually I sing with music."

"Too bad, this time, you'll have to sing without it." She says, putting her arms around my neck and leaning against my chest. I sigh and wrap my arms around her waist and start softly singing Isn't She Lovely. We both begin swaying to my voice.

Isn't she lovely,

Isn't she wonderful,

Isn't she precious,

Less than one minute old.

"Do you know what I've always wanted?" Amber asks, cutting off my singing. I think about it for a moment until something pops up in the back of my mind.

"A kiss in the rain?" I ask, making sure that it's correct. She had told me that once a long time ago, but we haven't had our chance to kiss in the rain yet, until now.

"Yeah. I was just waiting for that moment to have a boyfriend and for it to rain while I was with him." She explains as she still swayed, even though I wasn't singing anymore.

I chuckle and pull away from our dancing. Looking into her eye, I tuck a piece of her hair behind her hair and put my hand on her cheek, gently rubbing my thumb on her soft skin.

"I guess your moment is now." I whisper before I lean in a connect my lips with hers. Our lips move in sync as the rain hit out already soaking clothes. I put my hands on her waist and pulled her closer. The kiss is one so full of love. We have never shared a kiss this intimate before.

"I love you, Harry." She says once we pull away from the passionate kiss.

"I love you too, babygirl."

Even though this 'perfect date' of mine didn't go as planned, it was still perfect. Every moment I spend with Amber is perfect. She's perfect. And I know she definately brings out the best in me. I have a strange feeling that we're going to be together for a long time.
