What if..?

What if Niall and Louis hadn't gotten through in the X-factor? If Zayn had been disqualified because he didn't dance? If Liam had been sent home during the live-shows, and Harry had won on his own? Were would these boys be now? All alone, even though we all know they were meant to be together. What exactly would their lives be like without One Direction?
(Please tell me if anyone wants me to continue this story, 'cause i've kinda lost interest in it...)

1. Louis

“I’m sorry Louis, but I just don’t think you have quite the voice for this.” I just smiled t them reassuringly. “Aw, that’s too bad, well, nice meeting you all.” I gave them a wave and confidently walked out, even though I was crumbling on the inside, I smile at Gary and all the cameras. I couldn’t face the guys immediately, so I went to the washroom to splash some water in my face. My eyes stung, but I didn’t let the tears fall. I placed my hands on either side of the sink, and sighed loudly. I turned on the tap and splashed the icy cold water in my face. The door opened and the kid with the curly hair from earlier stepped in. He was pulling out that very hair, as he entered, looking absolutely terrified. I looked at him through the mirror. “What’s wrong curly?” I wasn’t afraid to ask, the guy had already called me funny. He looked up at me, and his expression instantly softened, and a relived smile took over his face. “Louis! I’m so sorry! I thought you were great.” He said with a sad expression, but he wasn’t able to hide how relived he was. I forced a smile.  “Thanks curly, and good luck to you. But you know, as I’ve already told you, you are going to be famous one way or another, so even if it’s not here, you’ll make it somewhere else.” I told him with a reassuring smile, which he gladly returned. “Thank you so much, Louis.” He looked like he was unsure of what to do, so I just smiled and ruffled his curls. “Just give a smashing performance. I’ll be rooting for you.” He smiled at me, and then quite expectantly, gave me a slightly awkward hug. He flashed me a final smile and then ran out of there, and I couldn’t help but smile after him. And now that I was finally alone, I let the tears fall, with a wide smile still plastered on my face. That kid was definitely something else. And I really wasn’t anything compared to him.
