Elena Jane Levy was the most unpopular girl in school. She was that quiet girl that sat in the corner of the classroom and actually paid attention, she was the girl who everybody in school thought was pretty... but never said anything because of their envy. She was alone, and that was the way it had always been.
Brayden Alan Brooks was the star of the football team. He was the boy that every girl in school crushed on and talked way to loud at for attention. He was the boy that everyone knew... and everyone wanted to be. When he walked into the room all the girls whisperer at each other, and all the boys waved to. He was loved by everyone, and sometimes he wanted normality.
Nobody ever thought that it would happen, not even Brayden or Jane. But one day things just clicked, the puzzle was put together... and everything made sense.

3. Oasis.

"were here." Brayden gently shook my shoulder and i fluttered my eyes and woke up into reality.

"How long have i been out?" I mumbled readjusting my hair.

"About an hour and a half." He smiled and then pulled the truck into a patch of grass.

"Where are we." I unbuckled my seat belt and stepped out of the car, my leg had fallen asleep so my left foot felt tingly.

"Follow me." He smiled and grabbed my hand. We walked through the woods and over a bridge... After about 10 minuets of walking we turned a corner to the most beautiful place i had ever been.

"Welcome to my oasis." Brayden said sitting down on one of the many granite rocks surrounding the crystal blue water.

"What is this place.." I sat down next to him and dipped my foot into the water, it was smooth and warm and i could see my foot perfectly as if it was a reflection.

"I was out hiking a couple years back with some friends and we stumbled upon it. Its beautiful isn't it?" He looked into my eyes and i got butterfly's in my stomach. He got up after about a minuet and started to walk up the large granite ledges to the tallest rock peak surrounding the lake, he pulled off his shirt and revealed his perfect upper body. He started waving at me to come over to where he was standing, i made my way up the hot rock and stood next to him.

"What are we doing up here." I asked looking down at the pool of water that seemed to be at least 70 feet below us.

"Do you trust me?" He asked looking into my eyes once more.

"Um... Sure?" i said losing myself in his perfection.

"Okay then on the count of three... jump." He cheekily smiled at me and my knees buckled.

"Are you insane!" i said walking to the edge off the cliff and looking at the distance between us and the water.

"Trust me." He grabbed my hand and smiling.

"o-okay." i stuttered trembling in fear.

"One..." He held my hand tighter and i held his back.

"Two..." I closed my eyes and let go of our surroundings.

"Three." We jumped and the ground fell from under us, i let out a scream and then my body was swallowed into the warm water.  I opened my eyes and re adjusted into reality, and i could see clearly underneath the blanket of water, the world was so peaceful for those few seconds and then i swam to the surface and gasped when i reached air, i let out another scream and then Brayden came up from behind me and grabbed my sides. I nearly had a heart attack but when i swung around and realized it was him i burst out laughing, he laughed with me and then we swam to the shore.

"I cannot believe i just did that." I said catching my breath and running my fingers through my brown hair.

"I cant believe i convinced you to do that." He laughed and  placed his hand on top of mine interlacing our fingers, i started to blush and he looked into my eyes... i could tell it was going to happen, by the look on his face. He leaned in and pressed his warm lips to mine, i kissed him back and he ran his fingers through my hair he started to smile and pulled away biting his bottom lip. I looked at him capturing his facial, and he looked at me with a smirk on his face.

"I have wanted to do that for so long." I blushed once more and then rested my head on his shoulder.

We jumped off the ledge a few more times and then Brayden grabbed a blanket from his truck and we laid on the granite. The sun started to go down and the sunset reflected on the icy blue water, we stayed until dark and then we drove back to the school so i could pick up my car. I got in put the keys into the ignition and pulled away. He waved and then yelled

"Ill call you!" I smiled and then drove home in the darkness of the night. There was something about him, something that made my heart beat faster and slower at the same time, i knew that this night wasn't going to be the last night i spent with Brayden Brooks.
