Titanic; on the other side of the Iceberg

This is about Titanic, except it is told from someone who was not originally on the ship! I used all of my great knowledge on ships and the ocean and Titanic to write the story.

4. Day 1

When I woke up the next morning at 9 am on April 11, I found that we had started crossing the Stetson Mesa. The boat was rocking a lot, and I was starting to turn green, even though I had experience with this sort of thing, like when I had to go out to Hallis Island to fetch something for mother, I won't say what it was. I was assigned the duty of fixing the ship when it was broken in any way. When I was fixing the oven in the kitchen on day 1, the cook, Frank, said this:

   "Hey, what is your name?"

   "Edwin," I replied

"Alright, Ed, well let's get to work," he said. And so, everyone called me Ed.
