"Agent Lee Minji, please report to Director Lee's office immediately," the voice from the speaker announced. I dropped off my bags in my dorm since I just returned from my last mission. Then I headed for Director Lee's office.

"You wanted to see me, sir?" I asked as I entered the room.

"Yes, please have a seat," he replied. "I assume your mission was a success?"

"Of course," I assured.

"As always," he praised. "I raised you well."

"Thank you, sir."

"You're almost as good as your mother was," he said. "She was one of the best agents we've ever had."

"I know," I agreed. "If that's all, may I go now?"

"Not just yet. I have another assignment for you."

"Another? But I just got back! You always give me a short break before going back out."

"Excuse me? Tell me, what is the first rule of The Society?"

"Do as you're ordered to. No questions asked..." I sighed.

"Good. The only reason I'm assigning you to this mission is beacuse this is a tough one. I'm sure you can handle it."

"Alright," I nodded. "Who's the target?"

He opened a drawer in the filing cabinet and pulled out a file. "Everything you need to know is in here."

I took the file from him. "Thank you. I won't let you down."

"Do you ever? Get plenty of rest. You leave in two days. Good luck."

I bowed to him and left his office. I went back to my dorm and threw the file onto my desk. My roommate, Hyojin, walked out of the bathroom drying her hair with a towel.

"What's that?" She wondered.

"My next target'" I sighed.

"Who is it?"

"Don't know. I haven't looked yet."

"Well, look!"

I turned on my desk lamp and sat down. When I opened the file, I was surprised at what I saw.

Target: Kim Jonghyun

Occupation: Former special agent 014

Alias: JR

Status: Incognito

Location: Unknown

Wanted For: Betraying The Society

Assigned Agent: 004, Lee Minji

"Kim Jonghyun? I thought he was dead," Hyojin said, surprised.

"I thought so, too," I agreed. I looked at the picture that was clipped on the corner of the file. I never really knew him, but I've seen him a few times around the facility. He was a person that everyone avoided. I heard that he always broke the rules but was never penalized because of his skills. A few months ago, the Directors told us he was killed in the line of fire, which wasn't that surprising since it happens a lot.

"That sucks. I kinda liked him," Hyojin joked.

"You're unbelievable..." I sighed.   "I know," she laughed. "I'm going to bed. I have to leave early."

"Okay. I'll be here," I said. I turned on my laptop and opened Jonghyun's profile. It was hard to find information on him since he knew how to hide so well. There were no records of purchases because he never used a credit card. Smart boy...

After several hours of researching, my eyes started to burn a little. I turned off the laptop and went to bed.

I woke up and noticed that Hyojin had already left. After I washed up, I went down to the training area to practice. If Kim Jonghyun is a tough target, I'll make sure I'm tougher.

"Hey Minji!" someone called. It was Dongho, or Baekho as he likes to be called.

"Hey Baekho," I responded. "Do you mind helping me train?"

"Sure," he agreed. "But you're already strong enough. Why do you need extra training?"

"I got assigned to a target that is supposedly very strong."

"Who could possibly be stronger than you? Aside from me of course," he boasted as we got into our fighting stances.

"Kim Jonghyun," I answered. I swung my leg under his and knocked him to the ground.

"Isn't he dead?" He swiftly got back up and pulled me into a headlock.

"Apparantly not," I said as I struggled to get out of his grasp.

He twisted my arm around my back and pinned me on the ground. "If you're going to beat Kim Jonghyun, you have to be a lot stronger than this."

He got off of me and I stood back up. "Why do you thing I'm training extra hard?"

"You're going to need to train a lot harder than this," he teased. "Let's go get breakfast."

As he was walking away, I grabbed his arm and flipped him over my shoulder. "I win."

"Use one more sneak attack on me again and you die," he said, trying to breathe.

I laughed and we went to the cafeteria. There we met with our other friends, Aron, Ren and Minhyun.

"Minji, sit next to me!" Ren smiled. "How was your mission?"

"Fine. I hated it, as always," I replied. I really hate being part of The Society. Most of the targets are just innocent people who were in the wrong place at the wrong time and need to be killed for it. It's either die or join The Society. Unfortunately, once you're in, you can't get out. If it weren't for my father, the man who founded this hell-hole, I'd be living a happy life.

"I'll be right back. I'm getting breakfast."

"Could you get me some food, too?" Baekho begged.

"Can't you get it yourself?" I whined.

"I'm too weak. You knocked the wind out of me five minutes ago, remember?"

"Aish... Fine."

No One's POV

Baekho waited until Minji was out of listening distance before speaking up. "Has JR said anything?"

"Yeah. He called from a payphone about an hour ago. He said they're sending Minji after him. Are they?" Aron responded.

"She told me herself this morning," Baekho said.

"I think it's easier for her to do the mission. It'll be a lot easier for JR to get to her," Minhyun stated. "He is doing this mostly for her, anyways."

"Ren, did you get into JR's information?" Baekho asked.

"Yup. I erased everything. I kept some things, but it's like he never existed," Ren answered.

"She's coming back," Aron warned. "We'll continue this later."
