One Night That Changed Everyting

Kaylee has always been the shy girl. Until the day her best friend got her the one direction meet and greet tickets. It all started out as a crush on her favorite boy band singer Niall Horan. Will their actions lead to extreme outcomes that neither can take back? They will be forced to face the spotlight and learn to grow up quickly. Besides it takes two to raise a child.

4. Getting Things Together

Kaylee's POV: I was thankful that we were now on summer break. Friday was our last day and we just ended up skipping it. It was 5 in the morning and I woke up and hour before my alarm was supposed to go off. I decided to get into the shower so Meg and I weren't fighter and rushing to take one. As I turned on the water. I called my mom to see how my aunt was. My parents trust me way to much. I mean what parents leave there almost 18 daughter home alone for a month during summer. It's not like I would do anything anyway. I hit call and the phone started ringing. "Hi, you reached Elizabeth. Sorry I couldn't take your call. Leave your message after the beep." Her voicemail said. She must still be asleep. "Hey mom it's me. Just called to let you know we are leaving about 7:40. Anyway just wanted to know how auntie was. Give me a call back when you can. Love you." I hung up the phone and peeled my clothes off to get into the shower.

The hot warm felt so good on my body in the morning. I feel like I was in the shower for about an hour before I finally decided to get out. All I kept thinking about was Niall and what if he did remember me. That would be a long shot though. My alarm on my phone started to go off and snapped me out of my thoughts. I ran over to it not wanting the noise to wake Meg up. She isn't a morning person. I walked into my closet to put some sweats on for the car ride there. When I finally found some I walked into the bathroom.

Meg was standing in the mirror trying to fix her bed head. "Morning sunshine," I cheerfully said. "Ugh, I hate mornings! Why can't the concert be near us so we didn't have to wake up this early?" She said in a monotoned voice. "I feel you there, but hey anything for one direction! Hurry though and shower, an I will get dressed and make some food," I replied. "True. True. Okayy, I want bacon thought!" Megan said. "Okay got ya," I said back. I gathered my dirty clothes and put them in the hamper before I walked out of the bathroom. When I finished getting dressed I walked down the stairs in the kitchen and searched for bacon and toast. As soon as I finished cooking breakfast Megan walked down dressed in her sweats and hair still wet. " smells good," she said. "Thanks, hurry and eat, we still need to get stuff together and it's 6:40 now! We only have an hour!" I told her. "I haven't seen you this happy in awhile for something," she said back. "I just got to thinking this morning that maybe Niall will remember me and maybe ask for my number or something!" I said with a smile on my face.

After we ate we ran upstairs to put our clothes in the suitcases for the weekend. I made sure my white dress with cuts up the sleeves was hung up on a hanger to hang up in the car. It was tight fitting and I thought I would be perfect for later today. I also chose brown heel ankle boots. They were a lace type show so you saw through to my foot. When I wore them I was 5,6" a normal height for someone my age. With out them I was only 5'4, I was pretty short. I got it from my mother though. When everything was ready we put it into the car and started to make our way to North Carolina.
