1. Sorry

One look was how this whole thing started. Ironic isn't it? How just one look, such a small thing, can create a whole storyline and all of, well, you'll see. So I'm here to tell you that storyline, and how it ended. Which is quite ironic too, but I'm getting ahead of myself. Which I'll do very often. Getting ahead of myself I mean. Alright back to my point.

That day I was taking an early shift at my job Starbucks. It's a temporary job of course. Only for a few months until I get back on my feet. “Order 28!” I yelled turning back so I could start the next order. I heard someone clear their throat angrily. I turned back to find an angry customer. “Yes?” I asked angry a bit myself with the interruption. The women, or teenager should I say, glared at me which caused her perfectly blushed cheeks to turn a shade of red.

“This is the wrong order!” she exclaimed her high pitch voice irritating me. I knew she was mocking me. It was the right order. Of course, why would a stranger try to make me mad? Well the answer is quite simple. She wasn't a stranger at all. She was the one and only Tracey O'Connor the 'hottest' girl in the 12th grade. For my taste she wasn't all that hot. It was just because of her body. Her pink lips were set in a fine line and her dim green eyes narrowed on me. I let myself glare at her too. Tracey and I were never the 'besties' as you could say. No, we weren't 'besties' at all. The only reason this dumb blonde continued school was because of the sex and all the attention! I have nothing against blondes! Just this one though. Actually my best friend was a blonde. Her name was Heather, but back to the point. Tracey tapped her foot patiently. “Well” she said shoving the cup of coffee back to me “fix it!” I took the cup and did something that would definitely get me fired. I took the cup and spilled the hot coffee on her. She screeched. I know it must have hurt, but what can I say? Is it wrong to have pleasure towards this? Because that's what I felt right now. Pure pleasure. What was written on Tracey's face though was pure disbelief and hatred. Which fueled my pleasure further more.

I pouted sticking out my bottom lip mockingly. “Oh! I'm so sorry let me help you!” I said sarcastically. Turning around I heard Tracey squeak out in anger. Her fake high pitched voice filling the whole shoppe. There was laughter all around. I felt proud of myself. Which is wrong I know. It doesn't matter though because tomorrow Calli and I are leaving for London. Forever. A small smile spread on my lips at the thought of leaving this hell hole once and for all. Calli was my other best friend. Well I was much more fond of her than Heather. I've known Calli since the 6th grade. 6 years. Wow. My fingers flew over the numerous switches and turns familiar with this daily routine of making coffee for others peoples pleasure. I found myself pleasing other people ore than myself. I smiled again at the mere thought of someone making coffee for me in London. Oh, how great that would be. My shortness on money never really allowed me to get anything for myself other than food and clothes. My mother could care less of me. She abandoned me at a very young age. That's all I'll tell you of my mother. I set down the cup of coffee on the counter and yelled out the next order.

“Natasha!” I heard a familiar voice call me from the store front. I let another smile creep onto my lips as I realized who it was. The smile disappeared replaced with an annoyed look.

“What do you want Ty?” I asked making my voice match my expression. A huge grin was plastered onto his face. Ty was another best friend of mine, but I hoped someday we would become more than friends. I pushed the thought back often. I was moving to London tomorrow there is no way in history I was going to date Ty. Ty's beach blonde hair was tousled and his cheeks and nose were rose red from the cold outside. His bright green eyes burned with sensation and excitement. Ty's name was short for Tyler. He hated it. Whenever he got Calli and I angry we would call him Tyler. It drove him crazy. I don't know why; his name was perfectly fine, but Ty refused to let out that information. It was actually kind of cute.

“What? I can't come and see my best friend at work?” he asked still smiling uncontrollably like an idiot. He moved up to the counter where I stood. Butterflies, no more like a zoo, fluttered in my stomach as his slender and muscular frame leaned against the counter. A smirk spread on my lips realizing why he actually came here.

“Let me guess you heard I spilled coffee on Tracey's head huh?” I asked him. His smile widened.

“So it's true?” he exclaimed excitedly. It was my turn to smile like an idiot. His eyes widened in amusement. “Didn't you get fired?” he chatted on. I shook my head no in answer. “Why?” he asked still interested in the previous encounters that have happened. I shrugged unknowingly. Actually the truth was my boss didn't know yet. What did it matter? Today was my last day might as well go down in flames.”Wow. Anyways...” he said trailing off. My smile faded. I knew exactly what was going to happen next.

“Ty!” I groaned.

“Please!” he shouted after me as I went to the back of the shoppe. He followed me, jumping over the counter in this process. The other workers didn't care since this happened very often. “I'll pay for my own ticket!” he begged furthermore.

“No!” I said. “Calli and I have made our decision end of discussion.”

“But why?” Ty whined like a baby.

“Because Calli and I are moving to get away from here! Not so you could come with us and remind us every second of this place” I said grabbing extra creamers from a drawer.

“But I won't I promise” he begged not dropping the topic.

“Ty, no!” I said forcefully. His shoulders slumped in defeat as he followed me around as I zigzagged across the back of the shoppe.

“Fine” he moped sadly. His head was slumped down. My heart broke in half. 'It wasn't my choice! If I could I would bring you with me and hug you and never let you go!' I wanted to tell him so badly. But I kept my mouth shut biting my tongue.

“I'll make it up to you. I promise” I said taking out my pinky so he could wrap his around mine. He looked up suddenly interested. His eyes brightened at the thought. Then he slumped his head back down.

“How? Your leaving tomorrow” he said smugly. I pondered on the thought. Ty was right for once. How was I going to make it up to him if I was all the way in London and he was all the way in Washington in the U.S. I was going to be in a whole different country. Then a light bulb went off in my head.

“Want a free coffee?” I asked him.

“That's how you're going to make this up? Coffee for a trip to London?” he asked like I was stupid. Which he was right. It was a stupid idea. Too bad that's not how I'm going to make it up to him.

“Yea. I know, but I couldn't think of anything better. Hey, it's better then nothing” I lied.

“I suppose” he sighed. I smiled. My plan so far was going brilliantly.

When it was my break time I decided to call Calli and Heather to tell them my plan. “This is stupid!” Calli whined. “Why should we throw him a party? Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? He's supposed to throw a party for us!” she complained.

“Well I feel bad that he can't go so this is the next best thing. Unless someone wants to change their mind?” I asked hopefully.

“No way!” she screeched. “I know your only doing this because you like him” she teased. A blush crept onto my cheeks. I looked around hoping no one I knew was around to see me blush. There was no one.

“Shut up!” I hissed into the phone. I could hear here laughing on the other end.

“I could see you blushing from here!” she teased more. I rolled my eyes.

“Whatever!” I retorted. “But are we doing this or not?” I asked her annoyed.

“Wasn't the free coffee enough? I would be just fine with a free coffee” she said.

“Calli, your not the one being left behind!” I whined. Honestly at times Calli could be a total pain in the ass with her complaining and what not.

“Fine!” she groaned unhappily. A sigh escaped my mouth as we said our goodbyes and hung up. Calli was done now all I had to do was Heather. More teasing. Oh, boy. But I decided I would avoid the extra teasing and text her. 'Hey Heather Calli and I are doing a party for Ty would you like to join? I'll text you the details later if you do. It'll be tonight when he comes home from work. So around 7, 7:30 K?'
