A One Direction Valentine

So far, Valentine's Day has never been Hannah and Felicity's best holiday. This year, all of that was going to change. They were looking for love and romance this year, so they decided to go to Paris, France. In the city of love, Hannah and Felicity run into the guys of their dreams. Will it work out or will all of their dreams be thrown off of the roof of the Eifle Tower?

2. Arrival

[Hannah POV] On the plane, Felicity seemed distracted. I wasn't sure how to bring it up. Although, I had a feeling that she had been thinking of something that her dad had done to her in the past. I could tell that she was trying to hide it from me.

"Felicity, are you OK?" She looked over at me with a faraway look in her eyes. "No, you're not. You want to talk about it?"

"When we land. OK?"

I didn't want to force her so I said, "OK."

The flight form Dallas to Paris took nine and a half hours. Not quite as long as it took to fly from Dallas to London but still, pretty close. The longer we were in the air, the more I relaxed, the more I pushed today's bad news into the back of my mind. Felicity seemed to be forgetting her bad thoughts because she brought out her laptop and started writing. She had been writing ever since we met all those years ago and was really good at it. Everyone at school told her that she should get her books published but she always denied because they were the things that had happened in her life, only written so that they happened to other people.

We finally landed and went to get our luggage. Once we got there, our luggage was just coming around. After we fought our way through the sea of people, hailed a cab and went to our rented apartment, I sat Felicity down in the living room.

"Spill it. What were you thinking about on the plane?" She seemed slightly reluctant to answer so I softened my tone a bit, "Please, Felicity, I can't help you if you won't tell me what's wrong."

"I was thinking about the Christmas that caused us to meet. I was wondering how so much pain could bring me so much happiness. It makes no sense."

"I don't know how to explain. I saw a girl that was always bubbly laying under the slide, crying her eyes out. I wanted to know if I could help and ended up getting a best friend," I told her. It made her smile.

"I just don't know what I would have done if I hadn't met you." She was obviously shaken about the thought that we were apparently sharing.

"I just had the same thought. You will never have to worry about that again. You will always have me, my family and your family." She nodded, apparently feeling a lot better.

That night for dinner, we went to a wonderful little French bistro. I ordered us the ratatouille. It was very good. Though we had been to Paris many times, I still could not speak French while Felicity was fluent. When we went to pay, Felicity had to ask the guy if he could speak in English. That part of their trip was not very fun. It was actually really embarrassing.

*******THE NEXT DAY*******

"Felicity! Get your lazy ass up! We need to go to work." I grab her ankles and dragged her out of bed.

"Ugggggg! God, can't a girl get some decent sleep after a full day of traveling?! OK, OK, I'm up, I'm up!"

I laugh at her and throw her cloths at her. "Come on. If we're late, Mr. Baits won't let us work in his café anymore!"

Felicity and I have been coming here for years. Every year, we have jobs reserved at a little café in downtown Paris. I serve coffee while Felicity sings.

15 minutes later, we are opening up.

"Felicity, can you come here, please?" Mr. Baits calls.

Felicity and I glance at each other. She walks over to him. I am in hearing distance, so I stop and listen.

"Everyone has been anxious for you to come back. I announced that you would be staying for a year and they went crazy. I also announced that you would be taking a few requests and the majority requested that you sing songs by that British boy band that you love so much. All of those requests were made by girls."

I could see that Felicity was blushing furiously. She and I LOVE One Direction. Only, she and I didn't know that we would have some very important visitors in the café today.
