You're Perfect to Me

This is a Louis Tomlinson fan fiction.
Delilah is a 19-year-old college student who has been bullied all her life. She goes to Greenview University in Manchester, England. Extremely insecure about herself, she doesn't think she can do it anymore. She doesn't think she deserves to live. But that was until Louis Tomlinson came along. *Some strong language*

23. You Are Beautiful

-Liam's POV-

I was listening intently to Mr. Peazer as he was telling me about his childhood. He was a very interesting person and I loved listening to him. Louis was giving me a look across the table that I could tell said, "Why do you find this interesting?"  I just laughed under my breath and went back to staring at Mr. Peazer's face. I noticed Danielle and Delilah leave the room, but it didn't really faze me. I went on talking to the family for about 10 more minutes when I noticed that Louis and Zayn had left and Delilah and Danielle still weren't back. Suddenly I heard ambulance sirens outside the house and Louis carrying an unconsious Delilah out the door. "Oh no. Not again," I thought. Next thing I knew the whole house went up in chaos.

"What's wrong with her, boy?" Mrs. Peazer exclaimed, waving her handkerchief around in the air before running outside after them. Niall and Harry followed her outside. My phone started ringing and I saw it was Zayn.

"Hey Zayn, what's happening? Is she okay?!" I asked, pacing around in circles.

"We don't know, we're chasing after the ambulance."

"Do you want us to come down there?" I asked as I saw Harry and Niall piling into my car.

"No. Just go back to the house and keep everyone calm. I'm sure it's not serious," he answered.

"Okay. See you later," I said.

"Bye. Louis!" I heard him yell with the screeching of tires in the background before I hung up. I closed my eyes and my heart started racing.

"Boys, we're going back to the house," I told them, keeping true to my word to Zayn.

-Delilah's POV-

"Danielle?" I mumbled, looking around at the flowered wallpaper of the bathroom. No one would answer me. Why can't they hear me?

Suddenly my surroundings started spinning and I snapped back into reality. The happy flowered wallpaper was gone and was replaced by white.

"Oh god, not again," I whispered under my breath. I looked out the window in the hospital door into the waiting room. I couldn't sit up but I could see the top of Zayn's quiff out the door. I made a clever move and knocked my water glass of my nightstand, causing it to shatter on the ground. Zayn quickly turned around and ran into my room with Louis not too far behind.

"I knew that would get your attention," I said cheekily.

"Delilah, are you okay?" Louis said, kneeling next to my bed and held my hand.

"Perfectly fine. When can I leave?" I asked him.

"I don't know. Do you remember what you told the doctor?" he asked me.

"That I wouldn't cut myself or throw up..." I realized what was happening. "You don't think he's really gonna send me to rehab, do you?"

"I don't know. I don't see how you're gonna get out of it this time," he explained.

"I got this. No one can say no to the Zayn," Zayn said as he strutted out the door.

"Oh dear," we both muttered as I placed my head back down on the pillow.

"It is done your majesty," Zayn said as he walked back into the hospital room with a look of pleasure on his face two hours later.

       "I don't have to go?" I asked.

"Oh my god, Zayn, thank you!" I said, giving him a hug. "When can I go home?" I asked.

"As soon as you feel comfortable." he replied.

"Well, what are we waiting for? I'm not staying here any longer than I have to!" I said, jumping out of bed and pulling Louis out the door.

We arrived back at Louis's apartment at 7 o'clock in the morning, and all the boys were sleeping. I watched a bit of TV when Louis walked into the kitchen.

"Louis, I wanna do something fun today." I told him.

"Ok, like what?" he asked with his head stuck in the fridge.

"Just get in the car and let me drive," I said mischieviously.

I pulled up in front of the cafe where we had our first date. So many old memories and secrets came back to me; it was unbelieveable. I couldn't believe it had been only two months ago when we were here last. It seemed like a lifetime when Louis was still a stranger and I thought I couldn't trust him. That was so different from how it was now. Now he was one of the only people I could trust.

"Seems like a lifetime ago, huh?" Louis said, breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah. I'm hungry, let's get something to eat," I replied.

"I never thought I would hear you say that." he smiled.

We ate our food and this was the first time someone had to watch how much I was eating. Louis payed the bill and we walked around the square. For some reason everything seemed so much brighter now than it ever did before. I felt like I could do anything and no one could stop me.

"Hey, look!" I said, pointing into a shop.

       "What?' Louis said.

"Let's go in there," I said, pulling him into the tattoo shop.

I never thought getting a tattoo would hurt so bad, but Louis held my hand the whole time. I had 'stay strong' written down my side. Just for the hell of it, I also had 'you are beautiful' written across my scars on my wrists. Now I could look at it every day to remind myself that people do care. Not everyone is an asshole like Shayna and there is always someone there for you through thick and thin. I have no idea where I would be without Louis, but I know that I wouldn't have been alive. I probably would have killed myself the day that I got the evition notice from my apartment. But there was someone there for me, and for that I am eternally grateful.
