Let Me Kiss You II

This is the same story I have already posted, the only difference is that this one is being continued. The other story was for a competition that was for a single chapter only. Enjoy!:
When Harry, a performer in one of the world's biggest boybands, gets in an accident and loses his memory, he might lose the one he loves as well. Sam, Harry's girlfriends, refuses to think that Harry will never remember her, and she believes somewhere inside him, he does. The reality of the situation hits her like a freight train. This is a tale of love and loss. In the words of the magnificent Nicholas Sparks,
"The initial feelings associated with love are almost like an ocean wave in their intensity, acting as the magnetic force that drew two people together. It is possible to be washed away in the emotion, but the wave wouldn't last forever. It couldn't-nor was it meant to be-but if two people were right for each other, a truer kind of love could last forever in its wake."

7. The Past Has Returned

My skin grew clammy as I released Harry's hand to wipe the sweat off my forehead. We were inside the San Clemente County Police Department filing through paper work, and viewing files that had long been forgotten.

"And what makes you think that the death of Brayden Mayer was on purpose?" The detective asked sitting behind his desk, obviously not feeling the tenseness of the situation.

"The night he-" I winced, "-Died, we had been eating tacos at a picnic in the middle of pines park. The tacos we had bought were from Pedro's Tacos in downtown San Clemente. I stayed in the car while Brayden had gone in to order. When he came back out he had blood on the back of his neck. When I asked him about it, he said he simply scratched himself and that I had nothing to worry about." I stopped, making sure the detective was listening.

I continued, "Because it began to rain, we were forced to leave the park early before we were completely soaked. And come to think of it, there are no trees along the freeway, are there? That's where the accident took place. A branch smashed straight through the windshield, and Brayden saved my life. The end. Or so we thought." I glanced at Harry before giving his hand a squeeze, "When Harry was struck,  we were just leaving Pedro's after a group of fans came over to our table to ask for an autograph. When we stepped outside, I had the same feeling that I had six months ago, minutes before both accidents occurred,"

The officer eyed me, then hunched forward on his elbows, obviously becoming more and more interested in what I was saying, "What type of weapon did you find at the scene?"

The officer's eyes flicked up to mine, realizing we had just made a breakthrough, "No weapon, just a tree branch."

I turned to Harry, his mouth was hanging open, shocked as to everything he had just heard.

Three days later, the police arrested a man nicknamed 'Wicked Willy' who was charged with second degree murder along with assault on four citizens. Those citizens included Harry Styles, Brayden Mayer, and three husbands who's wives were thankful for the arrests.

I looked at Harry, smiling as he let go of my hand to brush a strand of hair out of me face, "Looks like I get to fall in love with you all over again,"

I removed my jacket, and he gave me a kiss on the cheek. It was summertime, and I was still trying to get Harry to remember me. In the sunlight, Harry's Ray Bands caught a familiar gleam in the reflection. I looked to where the light was coming from, and Harry looked at me like he had the night he was attacked. He reached for the Paper Airplane necklace hanging lightly around my neck.

He looked me in the eye before a wide grin spread across his face.

"I remember."

And with that, I kissed him, and he kissed me back. I had never experienced anything like it.

I was in love with Harry Styles.
