MINNIE (A Harry Styles Fanfiction)

Harry Styles doesn't know that I had his baby. All this time I've been okay with keeping it that way. I figure it would only ruin his career if I ran into his life with a kid, so I just kinda keep the whole thing to myself. I mean, I think I've done a pretty good job in the past year. But honestly, I don't want Minnie growing up without a dad. I did, and I hated it. Maybe the time has come to finally tell Harry that he has a baby girl.

38. Thirty Eight

We're leaving together, finally.

I didn't think it'd be so hard to say goodbye to my mother. She promised me that she'd be alright on her own. She was just glad that I was taking such a leap in my life, to make things better. She says that she wishes she would have done that before I was born. "But I wouldn't change anything for the world." she assured me.

I cried the whole way to the airport, with Harry's hand on my knee. Minnie was asleep in the back, because she was cuddling with her blankie.

We rode in first class, with Minnie sat on Harry's lap because she would never keep quiet in her own seat. She clung on to him, her little face cradled in his neck. He held my hand the whole flight, probably knowing how nervous I was. Although, the ride was quite quick, only about three hours. I reminded myself that it could've been worse.

In the next airport, people stared at the stitches on my head. And someone bumped into my wounded arm, turns out that there was a large amount of glass on the left side. Now it was bandaged. I hissed, glaring at the short man. Harry pulled me to the other side of him and tucked me into the right side of his warmth. It was raining outside, so we got all wet, but we tried to make the most of it by laughing. There was a large black truck waiting outside to take us anywhere we wanted to go.~~~~

~We arrived in front of a large house, with giant windows and beautiful landscaping. "Do you like it?" Harry asked, squeezing my hip. I nodded, realizing that this was his. All of it. I couldn't believe my eyes. We walked up a long path to the front doors, where Harry struggled with his keys. I adjusted Minnie on my hip as the door finally opened. "Ladies first." Harry winked, making me grin. I stepped in, surprised at what I saw.

"Welcome Home, Stella." Louis shouted, jumping at me with a hug.

"Thank you." I said, baffled. He reached for Minnie, and I gladly handed her over. He's never done that before, so to me it was strange. The rest of the boys were there too and two young girls, one of them clung onto Niall. They all gave me warm embraces, and I looked around. As I observed, I saw Harry take Louis to the side. They were muttering under their breaths in the corner, but I ignored it and kept walking. I entered the kitchen and found Zayn pulling a beer out of the large refrigerator. Everything was so clean and bright. I smiled kindly at him.

"Help yourself, Stella. It's your house."  My eyes widened at his words and I just nodded, watching as he went back to the family area. My house.

I looked up at the high ceiling and gasped. The white beams tied in the place, a different look than I've ever seen before. There was a huge chandelier above the dinner table. And the wooden floors were gorgeous. "You alright, babe?"

"Just absorbing it all. I think I'm good though." I told Harry, kissing his jaw quickly.

"You look tired, why don't you get some rest, yeah?" I nodded, and he hugged me softly. I closed my eyes as he stroked my dark waves. He lead me to a staircase. My jaw dropped at the glass steps and the pearl railing.  He guided me upstairs, with his large hand on my back. We made our way to a bedroom, with black and white furniture. "This is our room." He whispered in my ear. I shivered, smiling at his words. The bed was larger than the one from the hotel, and the windows immensely brightened the room. I tiptoed over quietly and climbed up, taking a spot under the covers. Harry approached me, a smug grin plastered on his face. "Hey missy, that's my side."

"Not anymore." I huffed, smiling with my eyes closed. He slapped a kiss on my cheek and I heard him trudge out of the room.

~~~
I stepped out of the restroom that I had found along my way down the narrow hall. I heard people's voices and stopped dead in my tracks. It was Harry and one of the females from downstairs. But I couldn't tell which one. I didn't dare peek, because I knew they'd see me. I pushed my hair back and crossed my arms as I listened. "Why the hell wouldn't you tell me that she was coming here?"
"I don't know, I didn't even know you were going to be here."
"You told me you were done with her."
"I never said that, Emily." he scoffed. "This thing we have here, it needs to end."
"What do you mean this needs to end? Why don't you end things with her?"
"Because I have two kids, don't you understand that? I was a fool to even get involved with you, if she finds out she's gonna leave me for good. And she can't take the baby away from me."
"And why not?"
"Because she's my kid! And I want to raise her and watch her grow up." I heard a weird thud, wondering if he hit the wall. "And you'll never have any idea how much I love Stella."
"Well if you love her so much, then why did you find me?"
"Because I'm a screw up." he said loudly, making me shake.
"I thought you loved me, Harry."
"I don't. I love her. Now you need to leave." That's when I stepped in. The look on his face was priceless, and I was surprisingly calm.
"Jesus." The girl called Emily mumbled. "You scared me. Hi, I'm Emily."
"Stella." I said, smiling and reaching forward to shake her hand. Harry scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "Let me guess... You're Liam's cousin?" I asked collectedly, teasing her with this little game. I looked at Harry, who had turned white and flashed my teeth at him. She stared back and forth from me to him, confused. "It's so nice to meet you." She remained speechless, and I took the time to observe her appearance. She had reddish hair and light brown eyes, almost like she really could be related to Liam. Her green dress was cute, matched her sandals. She didn't have much of a figure, and that led to thoughts of how Harry had met her.
She coughed, and put one hand on her forehead, and the other on her hip. "I'm not Liam's cousin. Is that what you told her?" he shook his head, while I let out a small giggle. This was great. "Then why did she..." she was confused.
"Oh shit." I turned around to see Louis, in total shock. He looked at Harry and took my hand. "Um, I think the baby is crying. Why don't we uh, go downstairs. She probably hates the boys."
"I don't hear anything." I said with a smile, tugging my arm away. I put my hand on my little belly. She looked down at my action and growled. I walked up to her slowly without breaking my smile. "I suggest that you get out of my house, and don't come back." I hissed, taking control.
"What are you gonna do about it, slut?"
"I'd be happy to show you." I grabbed her by the hair and she caught my throat. Her nails were digging into my veins, so I pulled as hard as I could. She was screaming and I could barely breathe. Harry and Louis ripped her off of me, and I fell to the floor, her red DNA sticking to my clammy hands. Louis assisted her in the opposite direction, taking her down the stairs as she struggled in his hold. I was gasping for air, feeling pain shoot up into my tail bone.
"Christ, Stella." Harry picked me up, and when I got to my feet, I shoved him into the wall. Then I went for the stairs. "Don't go after her."
"I'm not, I'm going to get my baby." I pushed him out of the way and flew to the bottom. I entered the living room, where Emily was, telling her friend about everything that happened. She shouted curse words at me as I grabbed Minnie from Liam's lap. Then she stormed out.
"I'm so sorry." Her friend told me. I rolled my eyes and walked over to the nearest mirror. Somehow, my stitches managed to split open. I gasped and saw Zayn in the reflection.
"I'll call someone to fix that up for you." he said worriedly. I ignored his gesture and explored the house, praying that nobody would follow me. I found a door to the backyard, which was large with a big pool. Lights glittered the area, and I went out to feel the muggy breeze. We sat down on the brick, Minnie placed on my lap. She made noises as I stared into the darkness.
I really didn't know what to do with this time.
