That Brunette And Me

Amelia just moved to Britain from a small town, after having a terrible relationship with a past boyfriend. She meets superstar Liam Payne, but can she get over heartbreak, the wrath of Directioners, and being in fame? Or will she break under the pressure?

25. Suspicions.

"So?" Elle said anxiously. Everyone's eyes were wide as we slowly approached the car. I looked up at Liam, and we smiled at each other, as I looked back at the group. I nodded, grinning as big as I could. They all yelled, and started cheering.

"I knew it!" Eleanor exclaimed, grinning. Harry just shook his head, astonished.

"Yesssss." Elle said, dragging the 's'. She ran over and hugged me tight.

"Don't be stupid and do that ever again, you hear me?" She squeaked, as I held her as well. I nodded, laughing.

I got back in the car, with a bit of effort, and we headed back.

"I think this calls for... A PARTY!" Harry yelled, Louis agreeing. I shrugged, letting them decide. I didn't care, I was just glad my memory was restored.

"Yeah, uh, actually, I think I'm goin' to skip out on this one..." Niall said quietly. We all turned to look at him, surprised.

"You sure?" I asked. He nodded, smiling. "I got some other... plans."

"And I need to, um, find a modeling job, so I think I'm going to go do that.." Elle said, backing out as well. That made me suspicious. Elle never put down a chance for a party, let alone for work. What was going on?

"Really?" Zayn spoke up, his eyes huge. "You seem so... happy at parties." I laughed along with him, still suspicious.

Wait a minute... Niall backing out... Elle too. Hmm, I'd have to keep an eye on those two.

We pulled up to Liam's place and we hopped out, or in my case, was helped out. Elle and Niall walked off, in the direction of our apartment, at least I was pretty sure. I had no idea how to get around this city!

As Liam unlocked his door, I examined the outside of the place. Seemed nice, too nice for something I could ever afford. Even though my parents were well off, I had never had been spoiled, and I doubt Liam was either. He seemed to modest for that.

"Welcome to my home, everybody!" He said, taking his coat off. I wheeled a bit around the corner, seeing the huge living space.

"Whoa. This is gigantic!" I gaped. It extended far, farther than my whole apartment combined. The kitchen had stainless steel appliances and brand new, most definitely. The wood and steel made the whole place look modern and chic. I was amazed at the proximity of it.

"A bit bigger than my taste, I must admit." He chuckled, as the rest of the crowd filed into the room.

"Ah, good to be here!" Louis said, relaxing on the couch. Harry and Zayn seemed to make themselves at home as well. I bet they were here tons anyways.

The rest of the night was nice, not partying, but relaxing and watching some movies. We hung out for a long time, just talking quietly and going over the whole day, still not believing how lucky I was. It was a miracle, at the least. I still couldn't believe it myself. But I was thankful, thankful that I remembered, and of course for my new group of friends. And of course, for Liam. I wouldn't be able to survive without Liam. As long as Jake wasn't around to ruin it.
