Chapter 2

"Welcome to Mystic High School," another person I didn't know said to me. She was wearing the school's cheerleader outfit and when she lent forward and hugged me the back of the skirt rode extremely high.

"Thanks?" I said, confused.

I knew that I had changed my look a little but not so much that I was unnoticable. The girl who had just hugged me smiled bigger than I thought humanly possible and then quickly jogged off when they saw someone behind me. I heard Auday laughing from beside me. I turned and glared at her.

"No," I said. "Come on, let's go get our time table."

I grabbed her arm and pulled her along with me to Student Services. When we walked in there was someone at the desk already so I waited, using the time to admire my nails. I had let them grow out during the holiday and Auday had painted them black and done silver sparkly tips, they looked awesome and they only took her like five minutes.

"You may go now Blayze," I heard the receptionist say.

I looked up at the name as if it were my own. Right in front of me must have been Blayze, I couldn't tell. One because I had never seen him before and two, all I could see was his chest, covered by a very tight white shirt. I could see his muscles moving as he moved his arm to put his hand under my chin and raise it.

"Enjoying the sight Short stuff?" he whispered in my ear.

I could feel his breath fanning across my neck.

"What if I am?" I said, pulling out of his hand and smirking up him.

His eyebrows raised and a cocky smirk played at his lips.

"Well, well, I'll have to do something about that," he said.

"Like what exaclty?" I said, changing my expression into a cute confused one.

"You'll have to wait and find out," he said, winking at me and then walking past me and out the door.

"Oh my gosh Tierney! You just! With Blayze Rawlins! And!" Auday said, flipping out.

"Shut up and breathe Auday!" I said, rolling my eyes.

*******

I was late for class and I planned on making an entrance, a title coming with it.

I pushed the door open as hard as I could, it swung on the hinges slamming into the wall. Everyone's eyes turned to look at me, astonished looks on all the faces I saw.

"You must be Miss Calder?" the teacher said, his expression said it all. He was not impressed. Mission accomplished.

He was a new teacher. A pretty young one at that too, maybe 23 or so. He kinda looked like someone I dated last year.

"You got that right. You must be. . ." I said, looking at my timetable. "Mr Dodger?"

"Yes, please take a seat, it will be your permanent seat for this semester so, pick wisely," he informed me.

I started walking to the back of the room where I was able to see one free seat in the back row, in the corner. It made it perfect for texting, using Twitter, reading, basically it made it perfect for phone use. I turned back around about halfway to look at Mr Dodger.

"Yes Miss Calder?" he said, sighing that I still hadn't been seated.

"Do you somehow have a brother named Ryan?" I asked.

"Yes I do, now please take a seat Miss Calder," he said, seeming exhausted by me already.

"You look a lot like him," I said, barely loud enough for him to hear before turning and walking to the seat.

Sitting down I finally realised who would be sitting next to me all semester, if you haven't guessed yet from how cliché my life had become, it was Blayze.

"Ahh, couldn't stay away I see," he said with a cocky smile.

"Yeah, as if. This is just the easiest place to sit and text my fiance," I said nonchalantly.

Blayze looked at me strangely.

"I was born in India and so were my parents," I said, I then held up my hand where I had placed my mother's engagement ring.

"Sorry," he said, looking away.

"Really? The bad ass saying sorry? What will the school think?" I said, smirking.

"Well I'm not gonna flirt with someone who is engaged, I have some respect," he said.

"I'm not engaged, dumb ass," I said laughing quietly. "It was my mother's, she gave it to me when my dad and her broke up," I said, smiling at the memory of her handing it to me.

Blayze looked like he was about to reach over and whack me over the head but instead he just stared at me incredulously.

"Nice one," he said chuckling.

This surprised me. I thought he would ignore me or something but no, instead he congratulated me over tricking him and making him apologize for nothing?

"Nice entrance by the way," he said, winking at me before turning to look at the teacher.

"Thankyou," I said smirking. "Text this number in 3 minutes," I whispered as I slid him a piece of paper out of my notebook with my number on it.

"Why should I?" he said, being stubborn I'm assuming is a normal thing for him.

"Just do it," I said, standing up and walking towards the door.

I was a few steps from the door when the teacher stepped in front of my path.

"Tierney Calder," he said in a booming voice.

"Jason Dodger," I said, turning around and giving the thumbs up to my class with a big smile on my face.

"Where do you think you're going?" he asked.

"Bathroom, kthanksbye!" I said, dodging around him and out the door, almost tripping in my heels.

Behind me I could hear Mr Dodger telling someone to go and get the principal but I just kept walking and ducked into the first set of toilets I found. I walked into a cubicle and climbed up on the wall. I'm weird but this would make a funny bathroom selfie. As I was about to take the shot a message flashed through on my phone.

'Hey?'

'Oi! Check this shit out!' I texted back, taking a picture of myself on top of the wall and attaching it to the message.

It wasn't long before my phone flashed and vibrated in my hand.

'What on Earth are you doing ya douche bag?'

'Thankyou for those kind words -.-' I texted back before sliding my phone in my pocket and climbing down just as a girl walked in.

I closed the door and waited to hear her door close and lock. Once I did I unlocked my door, flushed the unused toilet and pushed the tap on as I headed out the door. I could feel my phone continuously vibrating but couldn't be bothered pulling it out as I walked through the class door and to the back of the class.

*******
