2. The process of getting to school

I felt something cold and wet poke me a couple times. I opened my eyes. I was looking into a pair of gold eyes. I could tell I moved a lot that night because I was on the floor.

I pushed my self up and propped myself up against my bed. I looked at the fluffy German Shepherd dog tilting his head at me. Apollo, my service dog, was a abused rescue. I think we have helped each other a lot.

I patted him on the head and stood up. I walked to the bathroom and stripped getting in the shower. I let the warm water run over my face waking me up. I got out after shaving my legs and washing my hair. I wrapped my self in a towel and grabbed my pink skinny jeans, my peach cored shirt and my gray cardigan. I put them on and grabbed my mix matched socks and gray ‘Roxy’ combat boots.

I went back in the bathroom and curled my hair after drying it. I pulled open a drawer and grabbed all of my bobby pins. I pull all my hair to one side and pinned it there. I ran in the kitchen and put a poptart in the toaster. I sat down at my little kitchen table and read the pamphlet that I got from my new collage.

’The Slade School of Fine Arts’ I am really big in the drama and art thing. I also play drums. Earlier this year I was at ‘Southern Utah University’ in Ceder City, Utah. I loved it there. But then I got a scholarship paper from Slade and really wanted to there.

It’s in the United Kingdom so I’m a long way from home. Instead of a three hour drive its a twenty-four hour flight. But then again I really like it here.

I got up and grabbed my bag stuffing everything in it. I put Apollo in his special service dog harness. I slung my bag over my shoulder and opened the door, Apollos leash wrapped around my hand. I locked the door and shut it behind me. I put my keys in my pocket and walked down the hall.

I heard shuffling of papers and a door shut. I casually looked behind me to see a tall boy with light brown wavy hair and pretty brown eyes carrying a stack of papers. I wasn’t carrying anything so I decided to help.

“Hey! Need help?” I asked. He looked at me and smiled. “Umm… Ya!” He handed me a stack of papers. I held them while he opened his bag. He took them back a put them in his bag. He zipped it up a put it on his shoulders.

I held out my hand. “I’m Jayzen MckMullin.” He took my hand. “I’m Liam Payne.” He smiled and let go of my hand. We walk down the hall. “So where are you going?” He asked. I laughed, “School. I’m going to Slade fine arts school.” He gave me a, ’you’ve got to be kidding’ look. “Really? That’s where I go!” I was taken aback. “Dude!” I laughed. He looked down at Apollo. “So, what’s with the dog?” I sat there forgetting what he said. I was in love with his accent. “What? Oh, Apollo? He’s my service dog.” I was a little embarrassed. “He’s very pretty.” He commented.

We got out to the parking lot and we split. “Well see you at school!” I smiled and got in my gray mustang. Apollo was is the passenger seat his head out the window. I laughed and ran my hand down his back and started the engine. I pulled out and drove to school.
