3. Getting Ready

Today was the day. And I woke up to Georgia shaking me and screaming "Come on Emily! Come on! Get up! We have to get ready!"
I pushed her off and tried to close my eyes for five more minutes, but she wasn't having any of it. She yanked the covers off me, sending a shiver down my spine, as my legs were exposed to the cold of her room. She jumped up and down on the build determined to get me up and awake. There was no point me trying to get anymore sleep, so I picked up my phone and looked at the time. "5 o'clock?!" I yelled. "Are you kidding me?" Our train didn't leave until 8, so I could've been able to squeeze in another 15-30 minutes. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and sat up, turning around to give her a death stare. She jumped off the bed and flung a towel towards me, "Go get the shower! We need to get ready!" I stood up and stomped out the room. She grabbed her towel and followed me out the room to use the other bathroom. I was so tired.

The shower woke me up quite about, along with a nice up of milky coffee, I walked up stairs in my dressing gown with mine and Georgia's coffee's. When I got up to her room, she had laid out a range of different clothing items trying to decide what to wear. She was trying to decided between a pink skater dress, or skinny jeans and a pretty blue top. I had already advised her to go with the jeans, and she already knew she was going to wear the jeans yet she still decided to consider wearing the dress. I was planning on wearing black cropped leggings with a checked shirt and a black vest top underneath and my black and white converse. I was happy with my choice of outfit, I definitely did not want to look like I had tried so hard, so I chose something casual.

Georgia eventually decided to wear the jeans and we both shoved on our clothes and started drying our hair. I now see why she woke me up so early, and thank god she did, otherwise I definitely would not be ready in time. It took me about half an hour to dry my thick dark blonde hair properly and I still had to straighten it. Georgia also decided to straighten her long red hair.

It did take quite a while for the both of us to get our hair perfect, and by the time we were sorted it was already seven, we had to leave for the train station in just 30 minutes, we needed to get a move on if we were going to catch our train. "Girls!" Georgia's mum Dawn shouted up, "Are you nearly ready?"
"Erm almost!" We shouted down. We needed t do our makeup and pack our stuff up still. W put on our makeup, not going over the top and went for natural looks, and then we tried to decide what we needed to pack. Make up; perfume; camera; spare battery; drinks; food; and pen and paper for One Direction to sign for us. We were ready. It was now 7:30 and Georgia's dad was waiting to take us to the station. We pulled on our shoes dragging our extremely heavy bags along the floor. We climbed in the car and forced Take Me Home into the CD player getting us in the mood.

We got to the station just in time and climbed aboard the train and found our seats,. This was it, just a few hours away from the concert.
