"Please stay Daddy," "Sorry, but it's my time to go,"

10. Giving Birth For The Last Time

A pain shot through my tummy, but I shrug it off. Then another pain shot through my tummy, and it was more painful. Another and another pains cramped my tummy. "Austin! The baby's coming!" I screamed, clutching my tummy. It was really painful, but I was prepared. "Austin!" I shouted again, and he ran into the kitchen where I was. "The baby's coming!" I scream, grabbing Austin's hand. "It's going to be alright. Don't worry," he reassured me, taking his phone out and calling 999. Luckily, the boys were at either school or nursery. "Sit on a bed!" Austin ordered me, and he helped me up the stairs. He laid me on a bed, and he kept taking instructions from a midwife on the other end of the phone. "Take your jeans and underwear off!" Austin yelled, helping me pull my jeans and underwear off. "It hurts!" I exclaimed, my forehead getting sweaty. I was in labour, and it was more painful than when I went into labour with Tom and Elliot. "Push!" Austin urged me, and I pushed as hard as I can. "The head's out! Come on babe, one more push and it will be out!" Austin cheered, and I pushed again. The baby was finally out! She let out a wail while Austin grins proudly. Thank goodness she was fine, but I felt faint. I slipped into a coma, no idea what was going on.
