Knocking on the door I tried to settle my mind and stop my legs from bolting back to the lift, or stairs, they would be quicker, less waiting around, more movement. Stop. I can't I have to give them the bags, do my job, have to do the job. It's taken so much to get here, I can't lose it now, I am on the road to recovery, going about 2 miles an hour, but it's progress. What was taking them so long, what were they doing in there? Wait, forget that thought, I don't want to know.

The door opens and there she stands, I feel sick, looking at her face, knowing she is in love. She hasn't felt pain, she's probably just using the guy for his money or something. She doesn't know what real love is.

"Here ma'am, your bags, hope you and your err, friend have a wonderful stay, any queries please ask reception." Quick leave, leave now. My head was thumping and I wanted to vomit. Just let me go, please.

"Actually I was wondering what time breakfast is in the morning" Oh for goodness sake, you couldn't keep your mouth shut could you?

"It starts at 6:00 and finishes at 11:30 the cost will be added to your overall fee when you leave, anything else?" Say anything and I will slap you, no vomit on you, maybe that would shut you up.

"No that's all, bye then" No thank you? Really? Just leave, slam the door in her face and run. I couldn't, I just walked away, feeling more lonely than I ever had, and she hadn't even done anything. I had made myself feel like this. Funny how the only true enemy is yourself. You can make yourself so annoyed, so sad, so... alone.
